| (Launch) - Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley of KISS and Leslie West of Mountain have been tapped to appear at the New York Custom Guitar Show on Jan. 9 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Music retailer Sam Ash Music is hosting the event, which is also being billed as the "World's Greatest Guitar Auction." On the auction block will be signed guitars from Eric Clapton, John Mellencamp, Chet Atkins, Steve Vai, Aerosmith, Stanley and Frehley. Proceeds will benefit a charity to be determined. Attendees are encouraged to bring in their vintage or custom guitars for sale, trade, or appraisal. Tickets are $10 and are available at The Manhattan Center box office or at any Sam Ash retail store. Store customers get two free tickets with any purchase of $300 and admission is free for children under 12. |
