VH1 Will Serve as Promotional Partner

NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000--SET (Showtime Event Television) Pay Per View today announced that it will distribute ``The Last KISS,'' a 90-minute exclusive concert featuring one of the final performances of the legendary rock band KISS, on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The suggested retail price for this musical event is $19.95.

The pay-per-view concert will be distributed by DIRECTV and EchoStar to subscribers in the DBS universe, while iN Demand and TVN Entertainment will distribute the concert to its cable network affiliates and their subscribers.

VH1 will provide promotional support for the pay-per-view event by running spots for 10 days prior to the event, extensive KISS-themed programming during VH1 News and VH1.com support.

Filmed live at the band's homecoming concert at the Continental Arena in New Jersey, the show features the four original KISS members -- Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss -- together onstage in full makeup with the dazzling pyrotechnics for which the band is world-renowned.

The pay-per-view special will include the band's hits over its 27-year career, featuring classic songs like ``Rock and Roll All Night,'' ``Shout It Out Loud,'' ``Love Gun'' and ``Beth.''

KISS' Farewell Tour is the fourth-highest-grossing tour in history. KISS has sold more than 80 million albums in its 27-year career and is second only to the Beatles in the number of gold albums that the band has been awarded.
