Detroit Rock City, Memphis Bleek Debut On Billboard 200

Backstreet Boys once again kicked Limp Bizkit out of the No. 1 spot on next week's Billboard album chart, The Billboard 200. The two albums - Millennium and Significant Other, respectively - have been trading places for several weeks now.

The only newcomer in the top 10 next week is Memphis Bleek, whose Coming of Age, clocks in at No. 7 with sales of approximately 117,000. The rest of the new entries are further down the chart, including Alison Krauss, whose Forget About It, debuts at No. 60. Krauss has also recently been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year in the 1999 International Bluegrass Music Awards (see story, this page).

Also bowing is the soundtrack to Kiss's much-talked about movie Detroit Rock City, which features Cheap Trick, Everclear, Marilyn Manson, Kiss, and others and debuts at No. 68; Lil Italy's On Top Of Da World comes in at No. 99; and G. Love & Special Sauce's Philadelphonic clocks in at No. 113.
