$25G DEAL FOR A REAL ALLY McBEAL

SKIN-baring attorney Rosalie Osias wants to create a real-life "Ally McBeal" - with a $25,000 law-school scholarship named after the sexy TV lawyer played by Calista Flockhart.

Osias, who gained local fame by posing seductively in a series of racy ads for her Long Island law firm, is offering a $25,000 "Ally McBeal Law School Scholarship" to any woman entering her first year of law school.

Osias says she wants to celebrate the no-holds-barred tone of Fox's "Ally McBeal," which centers on a fictional Boston law firm and its sexually-charged atmosphere.

"I believe in the enrichment and empowerment of women, who need to put together brains and sexuality in the workplace to break through the glass ceiling," Osias said.

"'Ally McBeal' is the only show out there that's even close to what I believe in. It shows that, here's a lawyer who will use whatever she can to get ahead.

"Women have always used sexuality to maneuver their husbands, boyfriends and fathers," Osias said. "The only place they don't use sexuality to get what they want is the workplace - and that's where it really counts."

The scholarship is believed to be a first. It will be offered through the lawyer's non-profit Osias Foundation.

"Women are going to have to write an essay telling about themselves, their background, philosophies, principles ... and what their strategy in life is," Osias said. "We want to know why they're going to law school, where they expect to be in a couple of years and how they're going to deal with their sexuality."

The scholarship will be open only to women needing financial assistance to attend law school. Osias will begin accepting applications in about two weeks.

"The idea is for women to become empowered and enriched so they can make their own choices," she said. "Women have to learn that brain power alone isn't enough to become a partner in a law firm or to get that corner office - it just won't happen without using their sexuality to manipulate and open doors."

Said Osias: "If this wakes up a lot of women and they respond and want to get into it, I think I might go for doing it once a year."
