ALLY MCBEAL Starts: October 25 The Big News: Look for less of the Ally-Billy-Georgia triangle. "We have pretty much played that story line out," says executive producer Jonathan Pontell. What’s Up: A half-hour version of the show — trimmed episodes from the first season, with some new material — will kick off Fox’s Tuesday lineup starting September 28. Love connections: Expect to see Ally (Calista Flockhart) get more shots at romance. "We may see several [boyfriends]," Pontell says.
