Synopsis:

Once again we revisit the importance of being cool otherwise known as Revenge of the Nerds or The Biscuit’s life. Sometimes this show just repeatedly bangs your head against the wall, some new material please David!

Rudolph (a.k.a. John) isn’t like the other reindeer (i.e. he’s a touch unhinged), happily he does find some kindred misfit toys (also known as wackadoo clients). The clients were supposedly not glossy enough to make it in the working world; however, it’s not like they are Andy Warhol image disciples, they design logos, and corporate is never chic.

Do you believe it comes down to needing a good headshot to get a job selling sweaters at the Gap?

Look up the defining essence of rock and roll, you’ll find Ms. Tina weathering the cool trends nicely, even if her opening number had that Ally-itus weak doo-wop feel instead of the soul tearing stuff that made her famous. She also managed the funniest moment of the night by swiftly brushing off our dizzy diva, if you’ve ever met a celebrity you saw the truth in that one.

Am I alone in seeing Ally as more faux-drama Celine than tough Tina?

What a heart stopping moment that was when the little nerdette was seeing multiple Billys during her backup gig. My greatest fear of a diluted romantic reunion was nearly realized. Thankfully, they came up with that lost friendship sham to cover up the empty airtime.

On a note of far more significance, who’s your favorite dancer, stiff Ally or overly shaken Elaine? Personally, this episode should have been shelved until Renee’s return.

The ending was supposed to be really touching, what with the freaks and geeks united in some Hunchback of Notre Dame Festival of Fools. Ms. Tina and Quasimodo were non-attendees as dignity beats cool every time.
