Synopsis:

Ally is thinking of running away to join the circus as a juggler of men.

Well, maybe a tumbler would be better so she could stop, drop and roll away from her bonfire of a dating life, ickily including a father and son. The slumber gals advised her to follow her flittering heart and date both Michael and Jonathan.

Who made for the worst night out, Michael’s bad cabaret or Jonathan’s wandering eye in Elaine’s direction?

The mating scene was no less nightmarish in the office. Mark couldn’t turn left or right without some helpful friend telling him how freakish his girlfriend Cindy (female in waiting) is. Between Nelle and Richard’s cringing like they’re watching TLC’s Operation and The Biscuit yelling about her penis, it can throw a person. Mark and Cindy even sought out a therapist (Louie Anderson) who apparently specializes in sideshows. Needless to say these lovey-dovies are kaput, and not soon enough for Richard whose skin was literally crawling after Cindy planted a vengeful smooch on him.

Doesn’t Mark seem spineless for succumbing to High School pressures at such a ripe old age?

Ally’s headaches don’t end with dating Andy and Opie, she also ran into Kimmy Bishop (Jamie Gertz), the Katie Couric perfection foe of her college days. Unable to resist she talked openly in front of the Women of Virtue about Kimmy’s fictional virtuosity with oral sex. Bring on the defamation suit.

Would you like to see more of Kimmy’s moral high-ground shaking things up in future episodes?

Luckily Ally gets all glowy and motownish every time she sees Larry so he’s ideal for the case. Ally gazed at Larry like a Tiger Beat pin-up as he used wit over nose whistles to fight the Swiss cheese complaint, simply solved with an apology.

However, Renee informed Ally that Larry is married (he’s divorced) and by the time she’d stopped seeing red, she turned green watching the blonde wolf (Nelle) move in on the new guy.

Does John dislike Larry because he’s still pining for Nelle or is it Ally he wants?

By the end, Larry finally asked the leading lawyer out for dinner and dancing to a Vonda/Jeffery Osbourne duet. Then the pair strolled the twinkling street like the Second Coming of Doug Ross and Carol Hathaway.
