Synopsis:

Ok, so when the show opens with Ally’s heart being ripped out that’s probably not a good sign.

To balance out the overall achy-ness of this hour Richard took his circus to L.A. again to see that child, er, woman who looks an awful lot like the blonde Muppet on Sesame Street who was always in plays (not that that has anything to do with the plot). It seems his favorite innocent was once again corrupted by the evils of Hollywood, this time a magazine called Maximum (surely not to be confused with Maxim) wanted to publish nude photos of Jane.

Are you amused by Richard’s incompetence or is it ridiculous since obviously he passed the bar, he must at least know the terminology?

Nervous about losing his chance for sex, Richard arranged via Radio shack for Cyrano John to feed him his lines in court. He won and then proposed to Jane! Fine, he didn’t, but it really felt like somebody on this show should have proposed. Actually, R invited Jane to move to Boston and work at the firm.

Do you think Fish and Jane have enough chemistry to necessitate the move?

Now for the stuff where they may as well have played the funeral march, it was just that cheery. Larry was proposing but the dessert went to the wrong table so, you know, let’s break up. Ally saw Larry eating ice cream with ex-wife Helena (Gail O’Grady) so, you know, let’s break up. Larry left Ally a not saying ‘I love you, goodbye,’ so they officially broke up.

Is it only me, or were these really lame reasons for a break-up?

Lovely, so that’s it, no more Larry. Now the least casting can do is let Ally properly drown her sorrows with Russell Crowe.
