Synopsis:

There’s nothing like a bit of sweaty in the boxing ring to show off your two new handsome leading men, and all you have to do is pull a little Pam Ewing (or Ally) dream sequence to make it all happen.

Since the show wasn’t subtle about putting it out there, feel free, who’s better looking Raymond or Glenn? By the way, your Glenn answer is wrong.

Ally’s clearly more drawn to Glenn at the moment and if you suffer from her lawyer fetish then you’d have been duly impressed with him. The most important case since Psychic Cleo continued as Ally put Claire (Edna) in a faux commercial condemning the phone companies. That ingeniousness combined with Glenn’s surprisingly strong powers of persuasion resulted in a whopping settlement. It was enough to make a grown... it was enough to make Richard cry anyway.

Is it only me, or are these people about as skilled in lawyering as Shaggy and Scooby are at detecting? Luck be a lady should be Ally’s theme song.

Anyway, the firm’s idea of Johnny Cochrane, pinch hitter John seems to have given up law altogether in his pursuit of the skittish Ally. He showed up in Coretta’s body suit raising some over plucked eyebrows and then felt a wave of embarrassment not seen since, well, since he last did something ridiculous. So he just laid his heart out there and was shocked that a girl so slight could squash him so efficiently. No worries, the Biscuit claimed it was cathartic.

A curious aside: Did you prefer Ms. McBeal’s messy straight hair (all the therapist scenes) or her messy curly hair (in the office)? Funny isn’t it, how she kept switching back and forth all day?

Back to the shooting downs, Raymond gave flirting another go with Ally but his "In The Company of Men" style left something to be desired. Raymond did however open Glenn’s eyes leading him to admit that yeah he’s totally into the Rod Stewart girlfriend typecasting thing so Ally’s a candidate. John sort of witnessed the scene and wasn’t looking all that cathartic then.

Has Jenny’s character even developed enough for us to care about Ally and Glenn’s potential betrayal?

Um, and lastly, Ling had her goodbye party where Glenn serenaded her with "Witchcraft", Raymond drank alone, pouting over his lost case, and oddly (considering the party theme) no one actually said goodbye to the new judge. Maybe next week.
