Synopsis:

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter guest stars as Jay Black, the lead singer of the '60s pop group Jay and the Americans.

He performs their 1964 hit “Come a Little Bit Closer” at a Bandstand rehearsal, where he and Meg (Brittany Snow) hit it off. They plan a party for that night, but where? The Pryor house is a possibility, since Jack and Helen (Tom Verica and Gail O'Grady) are in New York for a reunion of Jack's World War II unit. They'd never allow it and JJ (Will Estes) knows it, but he's distracted by his breakup with Beth (Rachel Boston). Meanwhile, Patty (Sarah Ramos) wants to impress her spelling-bee foe Kevin (Cameron Bowen). So why not invite him to party with Jay Black?

(From TV Guide)
NICK CARTER GUEST STARS; A WORLD WAR II REUNION REKINDLES JACK'S WARTIME MEMORIES -- A reunion of Jack's (Tom Verica) old World War II navy unit forces the veteran to relive some forgotten battlefield memories and offers Helen (Gail O'Grady) a glimpse of her husband the military hero -- as she meets a fellow veteran (guest star Brian Cousins) whose life he saved. Meanwhile, Meg (Brittany Snow), enjoying the benefits of her alleged appearance in a teen magazine "Bandstand" photo, takes advantage of her parent's absence, inviting Jay (guest star Nick Carter "Backstreet Boys") of the popular Jay the Americans over for a party. The social gather creates friction between the Pryor girls as Patty (Sarah Ramos), feels slightly eclipsed by her sister's popularity. Will Estes, Vanessa Lengies, Arlen Escarpeta, Jonathan Adams and Ethan Dampf also star.
