JJ's senior prom is coming up but he's not going because Colleen (Jessica Collins) has made him another offer. Then he hears from Beth (Rachel Boston). In other prom-related doings, Meg's new friend Carol (Lauren Mayhew) invites her---but not Roxanne---to a pre-prom sleep-over at her house. Meanwhile, Patty's afraid that no one likes her (there's some reason for this: she has a reputation as being a “know-it-all”); Nathan (Keith Robinson) puts Henry in another delicate situation at the Girard Avenue store; and Jack runs into Professor Witt (Robby Benson) near the store and senses that there might be something between him and Helen.

FRIENDS DON'T HAVE SECRETS; R&B SENSATION B2K GUEST STAR - Meg (Brittany Snow) continues to climb the high school social ladder by spending a night with her new friend Carol (guest star Lauren Mayhew) and a few other popular girls, but in the process, she lies to her best friend Roxanne (Vanessa Lengies) -- who wasn't invited -- in an attempt to protect her feelings. Elsewhere, a chance meeting between Jack (Tom Verica) and Helen's (Gail O'Grady) former teacher, Professor Witt (guest star Robby Benson), causes him to question the sanctity of his marriage. Henry (Jonathan Adams) continues his work on the new North Philly store, despite some rumblings from local residents and a disturbing graffiti message sprawled across the front windows. Meanwhile, JJ (Will Estes) decides to forgo his prom to spend a romantic night with Colleen (guest star Jessica Collins), and Patty (Sarah Ramos) deals with the disturbing realization that she has no friends. B2K also guest star as the legendary pop group "The Temptations," performing "My Girl" on "American Bandstand." Arlen Escarpeta, Rachel Boston and Ethan Dampf also star.
