Synopsis:

When Meg brings Drew home to dinner, it becomes apparent that Jack does not like him; Helen strives to balance career and family but misses an important moment in Patty's life; Henry has an admirer; JJ engages the enemy for the first time.

(From TV Guide)
JJ sees his first action in Vietnam while Drew (Sam Page) has his first encounter with Jack (and an encounter it is), at a Pryor family dinner that Meg has prepared because Helen is tied up at the travel agency. Helen's hectic work schedule also means that it falls to Roxanne to help Patty buy her first bra. At the store, meanwhile, Jack and Pete tinker with a new-fangled video camera, and a female customer takes just as much interest in Henry as in the TV sets he's selling.

(From NBC)
JJ GOES TO THE FRONT LINES AS MEG PREPARES FOR BATTLE AT HOME - Tension in the Pryor household increases when Meg (Brittany Snow) brings Drew (guest start Sam Page) home for dinner, and it is apparent that Jack (Tom Verica) is having trouble finding Drew likeable. Meanwhile, Helen (Gail O'Grady) is struggling to balance her professional career and family and is devastated when she misses an important moment in Patty's (Sarah Ramos) life. As Jack and Pete (guest star Matthew Armstrong) are figuring out a way to install a security camera in the store, they notice that Henry (Jonathan Adams) has a lady admirer. In Vietnam, JJ (Will Estes) engages with the enemy for the first time, and learns an important lesson in war. Rachel Boston, Ethan Dampf, Arlen Escarpeta, and Vanessa Lengies also star.
