Synopsis:
JJ's experience in Vietnam still haunts him, and when Beth tries to help him cope, they rekindle their love and decide to set a wedding date.

The Four Tops impersonated by 112 (performing "Reach Out, I'll Be THere") in an episode in which JJ has trouble readjusting to life at home. Meanwhile, Meg is accepted into college, but the two most important men in her life (Jack and Chris) aren't pleased; Nathan gets his first look at the boat he inherited; Helen attends a lecture by peace activist Dorthy Day; Pete pays Will to snoop on Helen and Shelly; and Patty has real competition at West Catholic's science fair.

112 GUEST STARS AS THE FOUR TOPS WITH RANDY JACKSON GUEST STARRING AS THE MANAGER, AND MICHAEL TOLCHER AS A SINGER IN THE LAIR -- JJ (Will Estes) is finally home, but Vietnam still haunts him. When Beth (Rachel Boston) helps him cope, their love is rekindled and they decide to set a date for their wedding. Meanwhile, Meg's (Brittany Snow) excitement over some exciting news is short lived when Chris (guest star Milo Ventimiglia) gives her an ultimatum and with Uncle Pete's (guest star Matthew Armstrong) growing suspicion of Chris' involvement with the fire at the Army recruitment center. Also, Helen (Gail O'Grady) gets involved in a risky anti-war endeavor that strains her relationship with JJ. 112 (Marvin, Daron, Q, Mike, "Hot and Wet") appears as The Four Tops singing "Reach Out I'll Be There," and Randy Jackson guest stars as the manager of The Four Tops. Michael Tolcher ("Mission Responsible") guest stars as a singer in the Lair, singing "It's My Life" by The Animals.
