Synopsis:

Burton represents a young cop (Joshua Harto) who shot Nick's former drug dealer, but the honest officer maintains that the dealer posed no threat at the time of the shooting. Meanwhile, Nick is suspected of adding hours to his LSP timesheet. Claire Stasiak: Joie Lenz. Jonah Horwitz: Eric Siegel. Wendy: Amanda MacDonald. Burton: Dabney Coleman.

Nick Fallin is faced with an impossible decision when he must choose between three kids for a single placement in a group home, sending the other two to a psychiatric hospital. Meanwhile, Alvin Masterson is visited by a probation officer who challenges Nick has been lying about his community service hours worked at L.S.P. At Fallin & Fallin, new associate Claire Stasiak is immediately thrown into her first case ­ assisting Burton Fallin in defending a police officer who shot an unarmed drug dealer. Lulu Olsen is released from the hospital and Nick contemplates assisting in her recovery.
