Nick Fallinšs plan to bring a new criminal defense attorney to the firm angers both Burton Fallin, who feels his son is trying to take over the firm, and Jake Straka, who shares an embarrassing past with Nickšs choice for the job. James Mooney is unnerved when his new client turns out to be a figure from a disturbing incident in his past involving his nephew Levi. Lulu Archer receives a promising job offer on the West Coast, leaving Nick and Alvin Masterson struggling with her possible departure.
