(Recap From ABC)
It's the world according to Cooper in an episode told primarily from his point of view. Things begin with a morning where he makes his wife breakfast in bed. This is something he's been doing a lot lately just to get Charlotte to eat. This morning, however, something unexpected happens. Charlotte's water breaks. This is not the best news regarding the babies, as their mom is only at 26 weeks.

Flashbacks have us jumping back to the day Charlotte let her hubby know she was pregnant with triplets. We see how Cooper blabbed the news to most of his colleagues before her grand announcement in the office kitchen. Addison details options for the high-risk pregnancy. Charlotte rejects the idea of selective reduction. They already told Mason he's having three siblings. Cooper says, "Then Mason's having three siblings."

After Charlotte unleashes some wrath on a baby store saleslady, Cooper and Mason try to hug away her grouchiness. It works for the moment, but the negativity quickly returns. Charlotte makes clear that she doesn't want a baby shower, but she will allow Amelia to buy her lots of new stuff. As for Cooper, he's thrilled when an ultrasound reveals that they are having three girls!

Charlotte's unique personality is just part of the reason she and her hubby get booted out of a birthing class. That type of thing isn't for them. However, having sex in the bathroom just outside the classroom is right up their alley. These two were made for each other. They do, however, have a difference of opinion as to which religion they'll be raising their girls under.

Cooper is so ecstatic about his impending fatherhood that he only half-listens to Violet as she mourns the loss of her husband. Speaking of Violet, she is surprised to see a member of her grief group at the hospital. Gabi is a woman who is struggling with the fact that her longtime girlfriend in on life support at St. Ambrose. She's clinging to the hope that the love of her life may someday come back to her. She's also not happy when Violet brings Amelia in for another opinion on her girlfriend's situation.

Violet apologizes for overstepping the boundaries of her new friendship. Gabi asks Violet if Pete was the love of her life. That's a tough one to answer since her deceased husband was so difficult and complicated. Yes, Pete was, indeed, the love of Violet's life, but she feels a little relieved that he's gone. Gabi, on the other hand, just wants her love back. Still, she gathers up the strength to finally let go with her friend, Violet, right by her side.

In present day, Charlotte is rushed into surgery. Addison has to deliver one baby right away. They make the decision to keep the other babies inside. Addison stitches up Charlotte's cervix to delay the rest of the labor for a few more weeks. There are serious risks for both mother and daughters, but Coop knows it's their best option. Sam places some mesh over the delivered baby's heart to help her get stronger. It's a difficult procedure, but the infant pulls through.

Cooper wants more time. He's not ready for all this. Then he is. It's time for him to step up and do his job as a dad and husband. The delivered baby doesn't have a name yet, but the one thing she does have is a loving family. Cooper isn't taking any chances with the religion thing, so he pours some holy water over the baby's incubation container.

Mason comes by to meet his new little sister. She has a tough fight ahead of her, but as mentioned earlier, her dad will be beside her every step of the way. As for Charlotte, Addison has put her in a position that risks headaches and blood clots. She's in for a rough time, too. Cooper knows it's time for him to be the strong one. He lets Charlotte know that their daughter is alive. He then strokes his wife's hair and holds her hand.
