Rachel's Loves & Losses

1. 1967: Rachel relished the prestige of being married to 
         Dr. Russ Matthews, but she grew impatient with 
         the struggling intern's long hours and lack of 
         material possessions.

2. 1969: Rachel seduced hunky architect Steve Frame. 
         At his engagement party to Alice Matthews, 
         Rachel dropped a bomb. She was pregnant with 
         Steve's baby. Alice flipped and fled to Paris.

3. 1971: Devasted that baby Jamie wasn't his biological 
         son, Russ divorced Rachel. She rebounded with 
         a brief marriage to Ted Clark.

4. 1972: A determined Rachel finally landed Steve. Too 
         bad his heart still belonged to Alice

5. 1975: Rachel fell head-over-heels for publishing magnate
         Mackenzie Cory, who was many years her senior. 
         They wed despite protests from his clingy daughter, Iris.

6. 1980: To save Mac from a murderous Janice Frame, 
         Rachel slept with Mitch Blake. The one-night stand
         resulted in the birth of Matt.

7. 1983: Rachel reunited with Steve. On their way to retie the 
         knot, they were in a horrible car crash. Steve died; 
         Rachel was blinded. In time, Rachel regained her 
         eyesight and remarried Mac in a romantic double 
         ceremony with Blaine & Sandy.

8. 1991: A widowed Rachel became engaged to Ken Jordan.
         She called off the wedding when she learned that her 
         fiance's original motive for getting close to her was 
         revenge on Mac.

9. 1994: Rachel fell for Cory-hater Carl Hutchins even tough 
         he previously had her kidnapped, shot, exposed to 
         poison and nearly blinded 

10. 1996-98: Unable to handle Carl's obsession with Grant, 
             Rachel split from her husband in 1996, only to 
             reconciled again in late 1997 much to Matt & 
             Amanda's dislike.
