Vanessa started to get worried and said: "Michael, please say something".

A huge smile crept cross Michael's face and he grabbedVanessa into his arms and kissed her.

Michael: "Oh, Scoop. I love you too. I always will. Thank you so much for forgiving me!"

Vanessa: "Forgiving you? Whats there to forgive you for?"

Michael: "I didn't trust you when I should have. I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you all of those times you tried to warn me about Virginia".

Vanessa: "She had me fooled aswell Michael. Do you forgive me for not being honest with you? I'm so sorry I lied to you".

Michael: "We both forgive each other. And we both still love each other. Now we both better get inside before I'm arrested for public indecency".

Vanessa laughed as she realised Michael was still standing outside with only a small towel covering him up.

Vanessa: "I kind of like you this way".

Michael: "Oh, really? Well so does Elle McPhearson. She couldn't stop crying when I told her my heart belonged to a certain journalist", he teased her.

Vanessa: "Oh, really? Thats funny because just last week I turned down a date with Brad Pitt for you. I guess we're stuck with each other now huh"?

Michael: "Forever!"

He helped her pick up the shopping bags and brought her into the house. As soon as the door shut, they started kissing again.

When they stopped Michael said: "I know we have a lot to talk about but please just make me a promise right here, right now".

Vanessa: "What is it"?

Michael: "We'll always love each other and never let anyone or anything come between us again".

Vanessa: "I promise. I'll love you forever".

Michael: "And I'll always love you".

Meanwhile Meg was finishing her lunch at the Java Web. Emily came into the Java Web and said hello to Meg. Meg invited her to sit with her for a few minutes until Sean came.

Meg: "So how are things going with you and Sean?

Emily: "Well, things are going great except..., well Amy seems to try to spend as much time as possible with Sean and he doesn't discourage her. We both feel sorry for her because of her dad dying last year but she doesn't seem to want to move on with her life unless Sean is right there beside her".

Meg: "How does Sean feel about this?"

Emily: "Well, he knows how I feel but he says he wants to support herand be a good friend to her. She seems to have driven all of her other friends away except for Brad".

Meg smiled. She didn't know Brad very well but she had a feeling that under that hard and spoilt attitude, he had a very kind heart.

Emily: "I just wish Amy knew that Brad cares about her and would rely on him a little more".

Meg: "Emily, I know I don't know Amy very well but I did spend some time with her about a year and a half ago and I know she relied on Sean a lot then too and maybe its just hard for her to trust new people". Meg shivered thinking about the time she, Amy, Sean and the others had spent on the island when Derek had killed so many people especially Mark. She still missed him so much.

Emily: "You're probably right. But I don't know how she can't see how Brad feels about her. Its so obvious every time he looks at her".

Meg smiled: "I just had the same conversation with Vanessa. I tried to convince her that Michael still loved her and she went to talk to him. I hope they can work things out".

Little did she know how well they were working things out.

Emily: "I would love to see those two get back together. I think I'll try talking to Sean again. Maybe he could set her up with a friend of his and she would start to not need Sean as much. I don't mind Sean being there for his friends but some days she's with him more than I am".

Meg: "I think its a good idea that you talk to Sean. I really think he will understand how you feel".

Emily: "Thanks Meg. Here he is now".

Sean: "Hi Meg. Hi Em". He and Emily kissed and said goodbye to Meg.

Meg paid the cheque and went back to work.
