When Meg got home that day, she was greeted by a long kiss from Ben.

"Wow!", was all she could say when they finally took a break. "What did I do to deserve that and I'll make sure to do it in future", she said.

Ben laughed: "Well, you are only the most amazing woman I have ever met and I thought I would show you my appreciation".

Meg: "Want to show me again?"

Ben: "With pleasure", and happily obliged her with another kiss.

When they had finished they walked over to the couch and sat down.

Ben: "I was thinking that since we couldn't have lunch together today and we both have meetings all week, that we could have a picnic this weekend? Just the two of us"?

Meg: "That would be wonderful, but you promised to take Benjy to a movie this weekend".

Ben: "There will be plenty of time to do both. I thought we could have a picnic on Friday afternoon and then I could take Benjy to the cinema on Saturday. Maybe you could come with us?"

Meg: "I would love too. Do you think Benjy will mind"?

Ben: "I'll talk to him. So what do you say, will you join me for a picnic for two at the cove on Friday"?

Meg smiled: "I'd be honoured to".

Ben: "And I was thinking about our talk this morning. I'm going to talk to Maria and see if she thinks it would be a good idea for Tess to move out. She's busy at work all this week because the art classes are starting but I'm going to talk to her as soon as possible".

Meg jumped into his arms: "Oh Ben. Thank you!!! I love you so much". She showered him with kisses all over his face and then his mouth.

Ben laughed: "I would have done this ages ago if I had known I would get this reaction".

Meg: "You have no idea how much this means to me Ben. Maybe we can all start finally moving on now".

Ben: "I don't think it would be a good idea to ask Tess to move out and fire her all at once. I think she should move out first and when Benjy starts school in the September she should find a new job".

Meg: "Thats a good idea. That way he'll have a chance to be without her but still have her in his life, like a normal nanny. I think I'll make something special for dinner tonight to celebrate".

Ben: "Well, don't forget Maria and Benjy are having dinner at Carmens tonight and Tess is going out with Tim".

Meg: "Thanks, I forgot about that. Looks like I have you all to myself. What will I do with you?" she grinned.

Ben: "Whatever you like", he grinned back.

Meg: "Hmmm, I'll have to think about that. Well, lets see, there's the dishes, the laundry and I think the windows could do with a good cleaning", she teased.

Ben: "Oh really"? He came toward her with a gleam in his eye. "I'll be very tired after doing all of that".

Meg: "Yeah".

Ben: "Not to mention sweaty. I'll probably need a shower. But you see, I have a problem with reaching my back".

Meg pretended to have a look of concentration on her face and said: "Well, I suppose I could help you with that".

Ben came closer and said: "I think that would be best".
