Robin Strasser to leave 'One Life To Live'

LOS ANGELES (UltimateTV.com) - Unhappy with her lack of story lines, "One Life To Live" star Robin Strasser will not renew her contract with the ABC soap opera when it expires in February, according to a recorded message she left on her telephone hotline. Strasser promised more details about her departure in "a few weeks." Strasser won the 1982 Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama for her role as Dorian Lord. Over the past year, Strasser has been vocal about creative differences with OLTL producers, eventually sparking a rumor that the role of Dorian might be filled by Linda Dano of the recently-cancelled "Another World." Strasser first joined "OLTL" in 1979, and left in 1987 before returning in 1992.
