LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Hold on to your wings "Charlie's Angels," because there are three new tough girls in town. Daisy Fuentes, Lisa Rinna and model Marika Dominczyk will play FBI agents who go undercover as pro volleyball players in "I Spike," a UPN pilot. "Melrose Place" star Rinna will play a Stanford alumna and leader of the trio dubbed "The Midas Team." Fuentes, who recently co-hosted ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos," will play a graduate of West Point and former Navy Seal. Dominczyk will play the sister of Fuentes. In the pilot, which began shooting Wednesday, the agents/athletes are assigned to find the daughter of a prominent senator and front-runner for the presidency. Rinna's credits include three seasons on "Days of Our Lives" and the TV movie "Vanished." Fuentes earned her fame as an MTV personality and host of the network's "House of Style." |
