Crystal Chappell and Michael Sabatino Interview 3/2/23

Michael gained fame when he first appeared as Chip Roberts on the hit prime-time series, Knots Landing. Besides his role on Days, Michael is known to daytime audiences for his roles on The Bold and the Beautiful as Anthony Armando, on All My Children as Dr. Jonathan Kinder, on Sunset Beach as Phillip Vargas, on Passions as J.T. Cornell, on Guiding Light as Vince Russo and on Crystal’s series Venice as Alan Anders.

Crystal made her daytime debut as a day player on All My Children before landing a short-term role on Santa Barbara. She spent three years playing Carly on Days before moving over to One Life to Live where she played Maggie Carpenter. She joined the cast of Guiding Light as Olivia Spencer in 1999 and remained with the show until the last episode aired in 2009. On Guiding Light, Chappell and Jessica Leccia were paired together creating the uber popular same sex pairing of, OTALIA. Crystal went on to win the Daytime Emmy-Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in 2002. She also played another Spencer, Danielle on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2012.

In addition to her roles in front of the camera, Crystal has created, Executive Produced and directed the Emmy Award-winning Venice: The Series and Beacon Hill.

Together they are the proud parents of two sons Jake and Dylan. Jake and his wife Grace welcomed their first grandson Zeke in 2021.

‘East New York’ Adds Kelly Hu In Recurring Role

She will play Allison Cha, a tenacious and straightforward political policy advisor brought into shadow Suarez (Jimmy Smits) to understand the day-to-day duties of the NYPD.

From William Finkelstein and Mike Flynn, East New York follows Regina Haywood (Amanda Warren), the newly promoted deputy inspector of East New York, an impoverished, working-class neighborhood at the eastern edge of Brooklyn. She leads a diverse group of officers and detectives, some of whom are reluctant to deploy her creative methods of serving and protecting during the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification.

The series also stars Jimmy Smits, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Richard Kind, Olivia Luccardi, and Lavel Schley.

William Finkelstein, Mike Flynn, Michael M. Robin, Ed Redlich, and Thom Sherman serve as executive producers of East New York, from Warner Bros. Television and created by William Finkelstein and Mike Flynn.

Hu currently stars in Season 2 of the Starz hit series BMF in the role of Detective Veronica Jin, airing Friday nights. She recently portrayed Union Admiral Ozawa in Seth MacFarland’s The Orville. Additionally, she starred in Netflix’s Finding Ohana and played the lead role in Lifetime’s List of a Lifetime.

Notable credits across her 35-year career in Hollywood also include X2: X-Men United, Oliver Stone’s The Doors, The Scorpion King alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and the CW’s Vampire Diaries and Arrow. Hu is repped by Mainstay Entertainment and A3 Artists Agency.

Lisa Guerrero: I Suffered Miscarriage On 'Monday Night Football' ... On Air During '03 Game

The 58-year-old, who took over the 'MNF' role from Melissa Stark in the 2003 NFL season, explained the horrifying situation in her new book, Warrior: My Path to Being Brave.

She said from the day she first got the job, she faced unfair ridicule and criticism from males in the sports world ... particularly from her 'MNF' boss, executive producer Freddie Gaudelli.

Guerrero claimed in the memoir Gaudelli criticized her work often ... and it, combined with the misogynistic trolling she received regularly from viewers, gave her such stress, she had actually considered dying by suicide.

Guerrero -- who had gotten pregnant with her fiancé, former MLB pitcher Scott Erickson, during the season -- says the mountain of pressure eventually came to a head late in the year ... when she suffered a miscarriage while on the job.

In the book, according to an excerpt obtained by PEOPLE, the former "Best Damn Sports Show Period" host said she was doing her reports from the sideline, when all of a sudden, she felt intense pain in her abdomen. Moments later, she said, "I could feel blood leaking."

Guerrero said she wanted to bolt to the bathroom, but had to do a live shot first. She said she felt "dizzy and nauseated" during the hit. Eventually, she made her way to the restroom.

"As I sat on the toilet," Guerrero said, "I couldn't believe the blood pouring out of me. It had soaked through my pants. I shoved a bunch of paper towels in my underwear."

Guerrero said she didn't tell anybody about the episode, and finished her work for the night, before heading to the airport.

"I don't blame one person for this," said Guerrero, who was fired from 'MNF' following the '03 season. "The miscarriage wasn't because of Freddie, and it wasn't because of one radio talk show host or one bad column. It was a culmination of the entire season of negativity and cruelty. It was really cruel."

She added that she's now hoping her story can deter bullying and trolling moving forward.

Eddie Cibrian responds to Brandi Glanville’s Piper Perabo affair claims

“I’m sad I have to address this, I really believed that we had come a long way, but this was untrue 19 years ago and it’s untrue now,” the actor tells Page Six in a statement.

“Just because someone thinks something might be true does not make it true,” he continues. “This is all so unnecessary.”

Cibrian, 49, sarcastically adds that “fun times at the Christmas table await” — as he maintains a co-parenting relationship with Glanville, with whom he shares sons Mason, 19, and Jake, 15.

Glanville previously claimed to Page Six in an exclusive interview that she had reason to believe Cibrian was “f–king” Perabo, now 46, throughout production for his 2005 movie “The Cave.”

“They did a movie together and [my son] Mason was 1 year old and I went to the set and it was in another country, Romania, I think,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum said.

“And [Perabo] was a horrible c—t to me,” the “Unfiltered” podcast host also asserted.

Glanville recalled feeling uncomfortable when witnessing Cibrian and Perabo’s alleged interactions on set of her then-spouse’s action-horror film — which was shot in 2004 on location between Romania and Mexico.

“She was flirting with Eddie, like, right in front of me,” she claimed. “I was like, ‘Am I here? Am I the only person [seeing this]? Like, what is happening?’”

Glanville’s suspicions were fueled further by information allegedly shared by “The Cave” crew members.

“I made friends on set and I heard a lot of things,” she told us.

When asked about what she heard, Glanville claimed she was told “that Piper and Eddie were f—king.”

Reps for Perabo have yet to respond to Page Six despite repeated requests for comment.

According to Glanville, she confronted Cibrian when he returned home to Los Angeles after the project wrapped.

“He convinced me that it wasn’t true,” she claimed, explaining why she decided to stay with him.

“We had a 1-year-old son and he was the love of my life at the time and, you know, there was a lot of convincing me of things.”

Additionally, Glanville alleged that Cibrian dismissed concerns, calling her “crazy,” “jealous” and “that whole deal.”

Cibrian has been accused of being unfaithful to Glanville before. He infamously entertained high-profile affairs with “Vanderpump Rules” OG Scheana Shay and country singer LeAnn Rimes, his current wife.

Glanville stuck with Cibrian through his relations with Shay, now 37, but called it quits for good after he struck up a not-so-secret romance with Rimes, now 40.

Glanville and Cibrian eventually divorced in 2010 after nine years of marriage.

The “Playboy Club” actor tied the knot with Rimes in 2011, two years after meeting on the set of Lifetime’s romantic drama “Northern Lights.”

Glanville — who appears on an upcoming episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast — said she is amused by the fact that Rimes and Perabo appeared together in the 2000 blockbuster “Coyote Ugly.”

“It’s kind of ironic that [Perabo] was in ‘Coyote Ugly’ with LeAnn. I’m like, ‘Oh gosh, they shared the same D,’” said the outspoken TV personality, who spoke with Page Six while promoting her role on Peacock’s new reality competition series “The Traitors.”

Incidentally, Rimes and Perabo were once linked to the same man — years before either ever worked with Cibrian.

In 2001, Rimes split from her longtime beau, “10 Things I Hate About You” hunk Andrew Keegan, after he reportedly cozied up to Perabo, per E! News’ pickup of a Daily News article.

‘Home Economics’: Eddie Cibrian & Daniella Pineda To Recur In Season 3

Cibrian will portray the character of Santiago, an extremely good-looking contractor who starts working with Marina (Karla Souza). Pineda will play the role of Nikki, a woman Connor (Jimmy Tatro) meets and tries to impress.

Home Economics, inspired by series co-creator Michael Colton’s real-life experiences, documents the uncomfortable yet heartwarming relationships of three siblings in very different situations: one in the ultra-rich, one in the middle class, and one scraping by. The series stars Topher Grace, Caitlin McGee, Jimmy Tatro, Karla Souza, Sasheer Zamata, Shiloh Bearman, Jordyn Curet, Chloe Jo Rountree, and JeCobi Swain.

Creators Colton and John Aboud serve as executive producers alongside Grace, Eric, and Kim Tannenbaum of The Tannenbaum Company, whose Jason Wang co-executive produces along with Tucker Cawley and Julieanne Smolinski. Home Economics is produced by Lionsgate and ABC Signature.

Cibrian most recently starred in Netflix’s Country Comfort where he portrayed the character of Beau. Prior to that, he was a lead in ABC’s Take Two and Fox’s Rosewood. Other TV credits include CBS’ CSI: Miami, ABC’s Ugly Betty, and NBC’s Third Watch. He is repped by The Gersh Agency and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Pineda most recently starred in Jurassic World: Dominion returning to the role of Zia Rodriguez from the 2018 film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom where she co-starred opposite Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. In 2023, she will star in the feature film comedy In Town, which she also executive produced. Additionally, she will work opposite Gerard Butler and Mike Colter in the upcoming film, Plane, for Lionsgate and Di Bonaventura Pictures.

CSI: Vegas Season 2 Adds Sherri Saum

TVLine has learned exclusively that the alum of The Fosters is set to recur on the CBS procedural as Jodi, a board member of the Eclipse Casino who will be working with Marg Helgenberger’s Catherine Willows to help solve a case.

Helgenberger, as previously reported, is reprising her OG CSI role as Catherine, with neither Jorja Fox nor William Petersen returning for Season 2, as Sara and Gil.

In addition to her five-season run as Lena on The Fosters (and appearances on its offshoot Good Trouble), Saum’s TV credits include Locke & Key, Power Book II: Ghost, Rescue Me, In Treatment, Beggars and Choosers and both One Life to Live (Antonio and Keri!) and Sunset Beach.

CSI: Vegas Season 2 premieres Thursday, Sept. 29 at 10/9c, where it will lead out of the freshman dramedy So Help Me Todd (starring Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin).

Other cast additions for the new season include Lex Medlin (Drop Dead Diva) and Ariana Guerra (Promised Land) as Beau, the most overqualified CSI Level 1 of all time, and Serena, a detective and daughter of cops who “is not content to let science lead the way without some saucy commentary and tough questions”; Sara Amini (Future Man) as new M.E. Sonya; and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel vet Joel Johnstone as Jack, the assistant medical examiner (and Sonya’s older brother). Also, Jay Lee, who recurred during Season 1 as CSI Chris Park, has been promoted to series regular.

Jennifer Holland, Sean Gunn, Molly C. Quinn, Jason George and Jackie Tohn Board Anthology Film ‘Give Me An A’ Responding To Overturning Of Roe V. Wade

The film currently in post-production will have been completed in less than 10 weeks from the date of Roe’s overturning — which eliminated the longstanding constitutional right to abortion — in an effort to ensure this is a response and not a delayed reaction. The creators, cast and crew have made a significant effort to expedite the process in order to start a conversation with audiences about the importance of bodily autonomy and address the dysfunction of a democracy that is not protecting the needs of a majority of the population.

Give Me An A will also star Monique Coleman, Parker Young, Regina Ting Chen, Ian Nelson, Trent Garrett, Kristen Ariza, Carolina Ravassa, Maze Felix, Kevin Fonteyne, Galen Howard, Andrea Cortés, Julia Vasi, Courtney Dietz and Avital Ash.

The anthology will be tied together with a wraparound piece, directed by the project’s EP Natasha Halevi, which features increasingly furious cheerleaders that inspired the film’s name. The segments comprising the anthology come from filmmakers including Valerie Finkel, Megan Rosati, Bonnie Discepolo, Monica Moore-Suriyage, Meg Swertlow, Loren Escandon, Francesca Maldonado, Avital Ash, Erica Wright, Mary C. Russell, Danin Jacquay, Sarah Kopkin, Hannah Alline and Caitlin Hargraves. Writers on the project included Lexx Fusco, Annie Bond, Savannah Rose Scaffe, Rowan Fitzgibbon, Danielle Aufiero and Laura Covelli.

In addition to Halevi, the producing team includes Giselle Gilbert, Jordan Crucchiola, Jonna Jackson, Jessica Taylor Galmor, Charlene Fitzgibbon and Alyssa Matusiak.

Holland stars as Agent Emilia Harcourt on HBO Max’s Peacemaker, having first played the role in 2021’s The Suicide Squad. She’s also been seen on series like Sun Records and American Horror Story, among many others.

Gunn has played Kraglin in all three Guardians of the Galaxy films, including the upcoming Vol. 3, also handling motion capture for the character of Rocket. The actor has also played these parts in films including Thor: Love and Thunder, Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War. Other notable film credits include The Suicide Squad, Agnes, The Belko Experiment and Super.

Best known for her role as Alexis Castle on ABC’s Castle, Quinn has also appeared in films like Agnes, Doctor Sleep, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and We’re the Millers, to name a few.

George is known for turns on series like Station 19, Grey’s Anatomy, Mistresses, Eastwick and Eli Stone, among many others, and in such films as Playing for Keeps, Bewitched, Barbershop and Clockstoppers.

Tohn played Melanie Rosen on Netflix’s GLOW and has also been seen on series like The Boys and The Good Place. Notable film credits include The Opening Act, A Futile and Stupid Gesture, CHIPS and Jem and the Holograms. The actress will next be seen in the comedy Old Dads, marking the feature directorial debut of comedian Bill Burr.

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 5: Sean Kanan Returns To ‘Miyagi-Verse’

“As Terry Silver [Thomas Ian Griffith] calls upon some old friends to put the Valley in a stranglehold, Daniel and Johnny are going to need all the help they can get to stop Cobra Kai in its tracks,” teased executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg about the new season at Netflix’s Tudum on Tuesday.

Mike was a villain in the third Karate Kid film but foes have become friends in the past. For example, Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto) is now working with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) to stop the bad guys. Would be a nice twist to see Mike ally with Daniel-son but everyone will have to wait and see when Season 5 premieres on September 9.

Kim, however, has already been revealed to be part of Terry’s expansion of the Cobra Kai dojo. She bad.

The new season picks up following the shocking events of the All Valley Tournament that saw Terry cheat his way to a championship with Tory Nichols (Peyton List) taking the top spot. Her happiness was short-lived, however, after learning she didn’t win fair and square but what she will do with the knowledge that Terry’s cheating won her the championship—if anything at all—is as yet unknown.

Estelle Harris Dies: ‘Seinfeld’s Estelle Costanza, ‘Toy Story’ Franchise’s Mrs. Potato Head Was 93

“It is with the greatest remorse and sadness to announce that Estelle Harris has passed on this evening at 6:25pm,” her son Glen Harris, who held her as she drew her final breath, told Deadline. “Her kindness, passion, sensitivity, humor, empathy and love were practically unrivaled, and she will be terribly missed by all those who knew her.”

Born Estelle Nussbaum in New York City on April 22, 1928, Harris appeared on 27 episodes of Seinfeld between 1992 and 1998. (The character had been named Estelle before she landed the part.) She began pursuing acting at assorted amateur community theaters while raising her children, and went on to find incredible success both on stage and on screen, also featuring in such series as Futurama, The Looney Tunes Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, iCarly, ER, Mind of Mencia, Phil of the Future, Dave the Barbarian, Kim Possible, The Proud Family, House of Mouse, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Godzilla: The Series, The Wild Thornberrys, Hercules, Cybill, Living Single, Moesha, The Mask, Night Stand, Star Trek: Voyager, The Tick, Aladdin, Good Advice, Mad About You, Married… with Children and Night Court.

Harris is also known for voicing Mrs. Potato Head in three installments of Pixar’s Toy Story franchise (2, 3 and 4) and a number of additional shorts. Boasting comedic gifts and a unique voice, Harris was at one point known on Madison Avenue as the “Queen of Commercials,” having been known to book as many as 25 national TV spots in a single year. “Her passion was her work,” said Glen Harris, “and her work was her passion.”

Harris is survived by a total of three children, as well as three grandsons and a great-grandson. Plans for a memorial have not been disclosed.

‘BMF’: La La Anthony Upped To Series Regular, Kelly Hu, Christine Horn Also Cast In Starz Series

Anthony will reprise her role as Markisha Taylor, who will have an expanded storyline in the second season. Markisha is the smart, sophisticated and street savvy wife of a powerful Detroit dealer. Despite the risk, Terry begins to pursue her relentlessly and they develop a friendship.

Hu will play Detective Veronica Jin, a smart, complex and tough cop out on the streets. Jin’s emotional journey is both universal and unique as she is a product of the American Dream shaped by her Chinese immigrant parents, but unique because Jin becomes the only Asian American, female detective in the murder capital of the world in the ‘80s.

Horn will portray Mabel Jones, a trusted friend and neighbor to the Flenory family. Despite her vivacious facade, the Flenory’s will discover there’s more to Mabel than what meets the eye.

The three join returning cast including Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., the son of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory; Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White, Myles Truitt and Steve Harris. Snoop Dogg, Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight, Wood Harris and Serayah recur in the series.

BMF is inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980’s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country.

The series is executive produced by Jackson, alongside Huggins. Heather Zuhlke joins as an executive producer on Season 2 with Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements who are both set to return to executive produce. BMF is produced through Jackson’s G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for Starz.

Shortly after her arrival in Hollywood, she landed a number of guest starring roles on such shows as Quantum Leap, Hunter and Empty Nest before accepting the leading role of Claudia Whittaker on the prime-time soap Knots Landing. After Knots, she moved to recurring roles on LA Law and Party of Five. Soon after she started to tackle comedic roles, in the role of Maris’ kooky aunt on Frasier and guest-starring roles on such sitcoms as Love and War, Ned and Stacy, Murphy Brown and Ellen.

In 1996 Aaron Spelling requested that she play ‘Bette’ on Sunset Beach earning her third Emmy nomination. In addition, she played the role of Edna Wallace on NBC's Passions earning her fourth Emmy nomination. Some of her other film and guest starring television appearances include Don't Mess with the Zohan, About Fifty, United States of Tara and a recurring role on Dexter. She co-starred on stage with Linda Gray in Bette Davis Speaks.

Kathleen earned a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and in 2001 she started Kathleen Noone’s Emotional Fitness. She wanted to use the combination of her extensive education, life experience and over 40 years in the entertainment industry to be of service to those already in the business and most importantly to those just coming into it. In addition, she conducts Emotional Fitness seminars for colleges and universities on Creating and Sustaining A Successful Career in Theatre and the Entertainment Industry.

Sunset Beach Reunion - Celebrating 25 Years

Sunset Beach made its television debut on NBC on January 6, 1997. The show followed the loves and lives of the people living in the Orange County coastal area named Sunset Beach, on the coast of California. Sunset Beach won two Daytime Emmy Awards and was nominated another eleven times during its three-year run. The last episode aired on December 31, 1999. This was the first daytime soap opera produced by legendary television producer Aaron Spelling.

Stolen by Their Father premieres at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 5. It stars Drew as Lizbeth Meredith, a mother who says goodbye to her young daughters for a non-custodial visit with their father — her abusive ex-husband — only to discover days later that he has kidnapped the girls and taken them to Greece. Eddie Mekka Dies: ‘Laverne & Shirley’ Actor Was 69

His November 27 death was announced on Facebook by longtime friend Pat Benti, who did not disclose a cause of death but noted that Mekka “passed away peacefully.”

Michael McKean, who co-starred on Laverne & Shirley as Lenny Kosnowski, remembered Mekka in a tweet: “A sad goodbye to Eddie Mekka this morning. A genuinely good guy and purveyor of cheer whenever things got cheerless. Value these people. RIP, Eddie.”

Born Edward Rudolph Mekjian in Worcester, MA, Mekka had attended the Berklee College of Music and had earned a Tony Award nomination for his leading role in the 1975 Broadway musical The Lieutenant when he moved to Los Angeles and soon landed roles on two Garry Marshall-created sitcoms: Blansky’s Beauties and Laverne & Shirley.

Blansky’s Beauties, the 1977 series starring Nancy Walker, was not a success, but Mekka’s supporting role on Laverne & Shirley from 1976-83 brought him national recognition and his signature role. As the kind-hearted Carmine — known affectionally as The Big Ragoo (sometimes spelled Ragu) — Mekka was part of the sitcom’s primary romantic relationship. His on-and-off relationship with Shirley and his loyal friendship with both Williams’ character and Penny Marshall’s Laverne, provided the series with one of its most significant supporting players.

Mekka’s Carmine was a part-time boxer with dreams of becoming a dancer and singer — ambitions that provided an showcase for Mekka’s musical theater talents and background. In the final episode of the long-running series, Carmine lands a role in the Broadway musical Hair.

Laverne & Shirley was an out-of-the-box smash after premiere in January 1976 on ABC. The characters had appeared briefly on Happy Days — another Garry Marshall creation — but made enough of an impression to lead their own series. Fronted by Marshall and Williams, the midcentury-set sitcom about a pair of workers at the Shotz Brewery in Milwaukee would finish as the No. 3 series in all of primetime for the 1975-76 season, far outpacing Happy Days.

Mekka appeared in all but a couple dozen of the series’ 178 episodes.

Although his Laverne & Shirley character would prove to be Mekka’s most recognizable role, the actor also appeared on such ’70s and ’80s series as Moonlighting, Family Matters and The Love Boat and had guest roles on shows well into the 21st century, including Children’s Hospital, The Young & The Restless and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Film credits include Beaches (1989), A League of Their Own (1992), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), Dreamgirls (2006) and Hail Mary! (2018).

Information on survivors was not immediately available.

Toni Braxton & Angie Harmon Lifetime Movies Round Out Casts With Eddie Cibrian, Kelly Hu & Kristoffer Polaha

Eddie Cibrian (Northern Lights, CSI Miami) has joined the first installment of Braxton’s Fallen Angels, while Kelly Hu (List of a Lifetime, Scorpion King) joins the cast of the second film. Both films are based on the Hollis Morgan mystery book series by author R. Franklin James.

Cibrian stars as Avery Mitchell, Hollis Morgan’s (Braxton) charismatic boss, while Hu will make her debut in the second installment as the mysterious Joelle. Both productions have started filming and will premiere in 2022. Additionally, Harmon’s Barstow (working title) movies has added Kristoffer Polaha (Jurassic World: Dominion, Wonder Woman 1984) as Elliot, a mysterious stranger with a troubling past.

‘Locke & Key’: Sherri Saum Upped To Series Regular For Season 3 Of Netflix Series

Based on the comic books by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez, Locke & Key follows the Locke siblings after their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances. The three siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.

In season 3, Ellie Whedon (Saum) and her son Rufus (Coby Bird) return to Matheson. Ellie continues to be haunted by her time spent behind the Black Door while facing a new and ever more dangerous threat that looms over the town.

Fran Bennett, Actress and Longtime CalArts Voice and Acting Teacher, Dies at 84

Known for her booming voice, Bennett was a member of the Linklater Voice faculty at CalArts from 1978 until her retirement in 2014. She also served as head of acting and director of performance from 1996 to 2003.

“Fran’s voice was unmistakable. She never shied away from using it. And she taught so many throughout the years to find and free their own,” Dean Travis Preston of the CalArts School of Theater said in a statement.

“Before there were diversity committees and personnel at CalArts, there was Fran. She unceasingly championed students, artists and innovators of all backgrounds and demanded that leaders do more to serve the left out and kept out.”

Born on Aug. 14, 1937, in Malvern, Arkansas, Bennett earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin.

She studied voice under Scottish actress Kristin Linklater at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and movement with Austrian actress Litz Pisk in London, then returned to the Guthrie to spend 12 years as its voice and movement director.

Bennett made her onscreen debut on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light in 1965 and went on to appear on Roots: The Next Generations, Lou Grant, St. Elsewhere, Cagney & Lacey, Dynasty, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Quantum Leap, In the Heat of the Night, Becker, Community and Scandal.

In 2019, she portrayed Mother Jefferson on The Jeffersons segment of Live in Front of a Studio Audience.

Her film résumé included Promises in the Dark (1979), Wes Craven’s Newest Nightmare (1994), Foxfire (1996), Leave It to Beaver (1997), 8MM (1999), The Next Best Thing (2000), Jessabelle (2014) and the upcoming The Manor.

For the stage, Bennett was a member of the classical theater company Antaeus, a founding member of the Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare Company and an Ovation Award and NAACP Theatre Award winner.

This talented duo met when they were both students at Northwestern University. Carolyn grew up watching soaps and Richard had never seen one. Fate intervened in 1978 when a family friend offered to make some introductions to an executive Procter & Gamble Productions. The rest is history.

Carolyn’s first job in the daytime industry was working as Paul Rauch’s assistant at Another World and Richard’s first job was as a script writer on Texas. From that moment forward this duo worked non-stop as breakdown writers, script writers and as head writers on almost every soap opera on the air. Together this duo created the General Hospital spin-off Port Charles while serving as head writers for the first few months of the show’s run.

They are the recipient of numerous Daytime Emmy Awards and Writer’s Guild Awards for their work. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Emily who is an adjunct professor of creative writing at St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, and Kathleen a journalist. Emily published her first novel In 2017, "The Misfortune of Marion Palm" was published by Knopf.

Looks like the writing gene is a strong one in the Culliton family.

Lifetime Acquires ‘List Of A Lifetime’ Movie Starring Kelly Hu, Shannen Doherty

Meanwhile, Brenda discovers a meaningful relationship with Talia she didn’t know she needed, and a reason to fight for her life.

‘The Crew’, ‘Country Comfort’, ‘Mr. Iglesias’ & ‘Bonding’ Canceled As Netflix Remains In Business With Kevin James, Gabriel Iglesias & Rightor Doyle

The Crew, headlined by Kevin James, and Country Comfort, starring Katherine McPhee and Eddie Cibrian, are ending after their seasons; Mr. Iglesias, toplined by Gabriel Iglesias, produced two seasons, which were released in three parts; and Bonding, created and directed by Rightor Doyle, also did two seasons.

Netflix is staying in business with several key auspices from the canceled shows.

The streamer has closed a development deal with James to develop a single-camera comedy series for the actor-comedian to produce and star in.

Additionally, Netflix has closed a development deal with Doyle and has the third in a series of Iglesias stand-up specials slated to shoot this summer.

Netflix got off to a strong start in the comedy arena with single-camera comedies like Grace and Frankie and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and multi-camera sitcoms like Fuller House and The Ranch. Since then, the streamer has faced challenges launching a hit half-hour comedy series, especially multi-camera shows. (It also recently canceled Jamie Foxx’s Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! after one season.)

Some of the reasons stem from the fact that Netflix’s development model does not include pilots, which are valuable proofs of concept for comedy series — where timing and cast chemistry is key — especially for multi-camera sitcoms. For Netflix, the first seasons serve as de facto pilots, with some of the series not going beyond that.

There have been recent successes. Family Reunion, headed into the second part of its second season, has been a solid performer, and, after a promising first season, The Upshaws was just renewed for an expanded second season consisting of 16 episodes.

Additionally, Netflix recently ordered a one-hour comedy variety special executive produced by and starring Will Smith and a high-profile comedy series set in the LA Lakers’ front office from Mindy Kaling, Elaine Ko and Jeanie Buss.

Good Trouble: Sherri Saum Previews The Fosters Mamas' Latest Visit, Teases Lena and Stef's 'Scary' Future

With Brandon and Eliza headed to Amsterdam, her parents throw the couple a Dutch-themed party, complete with costumes and a dance performance by both families! During the eventful shindig, Lena and Stef also learn of some surprising choices that their kids have made. But what about Stef’s decision in the Good Trouble holiday special to go to Venezuela as part of Amnesty International?

“We are still talking about that because the date is arriving soon that she’s going to be leaving,” Sherri Saum, who plays Stef’s wife Lena, previews. The move is “one of the points of tension” for the couple, because “Lena wants to be supportive, obviously, and loves her wife and is excited for her to have a new chapter, but it’s scary. They’ve never spent that kind of time apart, that kind of space apart, and that’s still very much in the forefront in this episode.”

Below, Saum talks about slipping back into her Fosters role, her easy chemistry with co-star Teri Polo and the “extra awkward” tension between the Fosters and their in-laws in this week’s reunion.

TVLINE | Most actors, when their series ends, they don’t get to play that role anymore. But that’s not the case here. So when you get those calls from the producers like, “Hey, we want to have you back for this special episode,” what’s your reaction?

First, it’s usually cartwheels, followed by a phone call to Teri [Polo]. It’s really nice that they feel that the mamas are integral to the continuing story of the girls in their lives, and it’s only natural in the sense that these girls didn’t just come out of nowhere. They have a huge long history that the fan base maybe are aware of. So I like that it makes sense, and it’s so much fun to do. It’s like a win-win all the way around.

TVLINE | Lena and Stef have such great chemistry. Is it just there the instant that you and Teri get back on set?

Yeah, it’s seamless. We have a language beyond what’s written on the page. We have a language and a rhythm and a music that we each understand, instantly. It’s so refreshing and exciting to be able to tap into that again. I miss her so much. I miss the cast so much.

TVLINE | Do you keep tabs on the show when you’re not on it, like, “Oh, I gotta check on my TV kids. What are they up to?”

Yeah, I’m a little afraid. Part of me is extremely possessive of these children that we faux raised. [Laughs] I’m not ready to know what’s happening. It’s probably like a real parent, when they have their kids go off into the world, and part of them really wants to know everything, and part of them really absolutely does not want to know. Because I do feel possessive of them and these big girl decisions that they’re making, and it’s a little scary. But I do keep up on it. I do drop in and spy a little bit to see what’s been going on. It’s also kind of exciting to go in a little blind, because that’s what happens in real parent-kid relationships. Your parents come to town, and you tidy that closet and you kind of put on your best face.

TVLINE | This coming Fosters reunion episode is a really fun one. What can you preview for the fans in terms of the family dynamics and the shenanigans that are in store?

Oh, my gosh. It’s interesting, because this time around, there are surprises, for sure. But I’m actually very proud of how well Stef and Lena are weathering the roller coaster that is the decisions their children make on their own. Even though we’re extremely affected by them and extremely involved in the outcome of their decisions, it also feels like a little bit of letting go, a little less heart attack-inducing stress from these decisions. I felt like, at least this time around, that we were just kind of cutting the cord a little bit with the decisions that we’re watching our kids make and not fully having a full-body panic attack, as we might have done prior.

TVLINE | In addition to all the Fosters being in this episode, we also have this gigantic, extended in-law family. It’s a lot of personalities that you’re putting into one room. Can you talk about the dynamics and the tension and the humor that we’re going to be seeing?

It’s really difficult, because we met the in-laws on different turfs, in different ways, through the years. But this time, we’re kind of on their turf. A lot of the hot-button issues that crop up, I feel like it’s a little extra stressful because we’re not in our home court, and we’re also in this very disorienting get-up that we are kind of gently forced into. [Laughs] So it’s a little extra awkward, which makes it all the more fun.

TVLINE | Stef is a little more obvious with her distaste of her in-laws.

That’s a nice way to put it!

TVLINE | Do you feel like Lena has to play the mediator role in this episode?

Oh, absolutely. That’s the dynamic, no matter what. That’s the dynamic in real life. I’m always like, “Let’s not jump off the cliff, at least not in front of the people.” I’m always kind of reeling that in, while secretly at the same time loving her badassery and her willingness to just say what everyone’s thinking. So it’s a nice little tightrope that Lena continues to walk.

TVLINE | What was your reaction when you saw those outfits and found out you’re going to have to do this whole dance?

Oh, my gosh, I was excited, because as an actor, I’m always so, so thrilled when I get to learn a new skill, and I’m basically being paid to learn it. I’ve always wanted to learn, whether it’s horseback riding or those kind of things, and a lot of times, you get those kind of opportunities as an actor. So this was just another chance to learn something really oddball and fun that you might not have thought of before, and I had a ton of fun. The only part I’m lamenting was the corset, because it did require me to breathe about three breaths every hour. So that was a little restricting in the Malibu heat. That was not fun, and I needed to be horizontal as much as possible when we weren’t filming. So that was a little difficult, but you suffer for your art.

‘Karate Kid III’ actor hints at ‘Cobra Kai’ comeback

Speaking on “FanRoom Live,” Sean Kanan — who memorably played bad guy Mike Barnes in “Karate Kid III” — hinted that he might be appearing on the Netflix hit.

Co-host Jae Benjamin asked Kanan, “What’s the future hold for Mike Barnes?” to which Kanan, “If I were to guess, [I’d say] you haven’t seen the last of Mike Barnes!”

When Benjamin pressed him on whether that meant he’ll be appearing on the fourth season of “Cobra Kai,” Kanan played coy.

“I didn’t say that exactly,” he said, “I said you probably havent seen the last of him.”

Country Comfort: LeAnn Rimes Crashes Eddie Cibrian and Katharine McPhee's Netflix Comedy in First Trailer

The streamer on Friday released a full-length trailer for its new musical comedy (premiering Friday, March 19), in which “an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian) and his five children,” according to Netflix’s official synopsis.

“With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.”

And yes, that is LeAnn Rimes — country music icon, Cibrian’s real-life spouse and recent winner of The Masked Singer — talking one of Beau’s kids through her grief at the 1:28 mark.

In addition to McPhee and Cibrian, Country Comfort also stars Ricardo Hurtado, Jamie Martin Mann, Pyper Braun, Shiloh Verrico, Griffin McIntyre, Janet Varney and Eric Balfour.

Why Randy Spelling left Hollywood

The 42-year-old son of the late mega-producer Aaron Spelling recently told Page Six of the incredible pressure he felt to succeed in the entertainment business “because my dad was such a legend.”

Aaron was one of television’s most prolific producers with massive hits like “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Dynasty,” “Melrose Place,” and “The Love Boat.”

“I think I took it as this self-imposed … I have to be something big and [I thought], ‘Well, I guess bigness comes in the way of being famous or as an actor or producer,’ so that’s how I tried to find that. And then I realized I have to forge my own path because if I don’t it’s going to kill me.”

And that path lead him toward a career far different than his famous father and actress sister, Tori Spelling: He’s a life coach.

Happily married with two daughters and living in Oregon, Randy has a life today that is far different from how he was raised, growing up in the largest home in Los Angeles county, a 123-room mansion that sold for $120 million in 2019.

So why did the son of one of the biggest names in Hollywood turn his back on Tinseltown? It all started in rehab following his father’s death in 2006.

“I was just trying to fill myself in any way I could and started filling myself with the wrong things and got caught up in addiction,” he explained. “So I went to rehab and after I thought, ‘Gosh, I have this second chance, who do I want to be? What makes me happy? What am I here for?’ And all these existential questions that I really set out on a path to answer.”

A friend suggested life coaching and Randy was intrigued.

“It was just, ‘Hey this sounds really interesting,’ so I did it and it was suggested I work with people and I started doing that and I realized, ‘I think I’m good at it,’ and it just propelled me to do more,” he said.

That decision has led to a 13-year career in the field working with clients from all walks of life.

“I’ve been on both sides of the coin from having everything to being very concerned, ‘How I am going to make this happen for my family?’ and I can tell you happiness doesn’t come from money,” he continued. “It can bring less stress and afford more choice but I work with people who have very little and CEOs and I can tell you happiness has nothing to do with money.”

‘General Hospital’ to Pay On-Air Tribute to John Reilly

Executive producer Frank Valentini tells Variety that Reilly “was a huge part of the ‘GH’ history and will be honored in an upcoming episode that the writers are working on now.”

Due to COVID-19, the ABC daytime drama has adjusted its schedule slightly, but both the writers’ room and production are still working weeks ahead and are currently prepping content for the end of the first quarter and start of the second quarter of 2021.

Reilly started on “General Hospital” in June 1984, playing Sean Donely consecutively for more than a decade, through February 1995, and then making sporadic appearances as the character in 2008 (for the finale of spinoff “General Hospital: Night Shift”) and in 2013.

The character was first introduced when Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) needed help while he was on the run from murder charges, but Sean was a force with which to be reckoned: in the 1970s he was the head of the World Security Bureau (WSB), which added an adventure element into the medical soap.

Robert (Tristan Rogers), who worked for Sean, sent Luke to Sean for help. At the time, there was a mystery about Aztec treasure under way, which Sean was looking for, and things got so hairy he ended up kidnapping a few people close to Robert. Eventually, the two made up and Sean became the godfather of Robert’s daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough).This, along with his romance with Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), cemented his place as an important player in Port Charles. He later became the police commissioner, which deepened his ties.

Sean also had a relationships with characters including Dr. Greta Ingstrom (Kristina Wayborn), Jessica Holmes (Starr Andreeff) and, of course, Tiffany Hill Donely (Sharon Wyatt), with whom his character had a daughter named Anna (Courtney Halverson).

The WSB has been a big part of the “General Hospital” storyline of late, through characters including Robert and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

When Reilly passed away on Jan. 9, the team behind “General Hospital” paid tribute to him on social media, tweeting, “The entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to hear of John Reilly’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones. Rest in peace.”

Daytime Star John Reilly Dead at 84

“I’m so grateful he was mine,” she continued. “I’m so grateful I got to love him. I’m so grateful I made it in time to hold him and say goodbye. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do, but I know he’ll be with me. I love you forever, Daddy.”

In the comments, GH star Finola Hughes (Anna) mourned the loss of her former co-star and friend. “Oh, Caitlin, I am so sorry,” she wrote. “He was indeed the best. The kindest person, most generous and loving actor. Most supportive man in every way. Please send my love to Liz and to your family.”

Chicago native Reilly began his acting career back in the mid-‘60s with guest roles on DEATH VALLEY DAYS, APPLE’S WAY, AND GUNSMOKE. He made his daytime debut in 1974 as a recast of Dan Stewart on CBS sudser AS THE WORLD TURNS. After numerous television roles in the ‘70s, Reilly landed a recurring role on the primetime soap DALLAS in 1983. And the following year, he was cast as WSB agent Sean Donely on GH, a role he played until 1995.

He returned to daytime as Del on NBC’s SUNSET BEACH in the late ‘90s and in 2005 took over the role of Alistair Crane on PASSIONS. Reilly reprised the role of Sean Donley on GH’s primetime spinoff NIGHT SHIFT in 2008 and then again in 2013 for GH’s 50th anniversary.

John Reilly, General Hospital and Passions Vet, Dead at 84

One of Reilly’s daughters, actress and TikTok personality Caitlin Reilly, shared the news via Instagram saying, “John Henry Matthew Reilly AKA Jack. The brightest light in the world has gone out.” A cause of death has not yet been shared.

“Imagine the best person in the world. Now imagine that person being your dad,” Caitlin wrote. “I’m so grateful he was mine. I’m so grateful I got to love him. I’m so grateful I made it in time to hold him and say goodbye. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do, but I know he’ll be with me. I love you forever Daddy.”

The Chicago-born actor’s early career began with arcs on As the World Turns (as Dr. Dan Stewart), How the West Was Won, Quincy M.E. and Dallas (as Roy Ralston).

In February 1984, he made his GH debut as Sean Donely, Robert Scorpio’s former WSB (World Security Bureau) boss, who proved to be a bit of a foil during Frisco and Felicia’s Aztec Treasure hunt (watch his debut below). Following a redemption arc, superspy Sean was romantically paired with actress Tiffany Hill (played by Sharon Wyatt).

“He was a big brother to me. The kindest man you ever could find,” feellow GH vet Finola Hughes, who plays Anna and Alex Devane, tells TVLine. “I cannot express how sorry I am to hear of his passing.”

Following Reilly’s 11-year GH run, he voiced Hawkeye/Clint Barton on the animated Iron Man series, played Kelly Taylor’s pop on Beverly Hills, 90210, and then had multi-year runs on both Sunset Beach (as Del Douglas) and Passions (replacing the late David Bailey as Alistair Crane).

Reilly’s acting credits also include the short-lived spinoff General Hospital: Night Shift (where he reprised the role of Sean) and the web soap The Bay. And yes, he is the reason Talladega Nights‘ John C. Reilly uses a middle initial professionally.

Reilly is survived by his wife Liz and a total of three daughters.

‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Adds Sherri Saum To Spinoff Cast

Coming off a shapeshifted role on the first season of Netflix’s Locke & Key, Sherri Saum has joined Power Book II: Ghost for its first season, I’ve learned.

The Fosters alum will play Paula Matarazzo on the Mary J. Blige, Michael Rainey Jr, Naturi Naughton and Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith-led Ghost.

Picking up not long after the fatal and incarcerating February 9 airing conclusion of the sixth and final season of Power, Saum’s Matarazzo is the top investigator and right-hand of Smith’s arrogant defense lawyer Davis MacLean. All of which means the hard-driven ex-law enforcement character could prove a major player in this expansion of Kemp’s franchise on Starz – especially as MacLean may be instrumental (or not) in getting Naughton’s Tasha St. Patrick out of jail for the supposed murder of her husband, one James St, Patrick/Ghost.

Having started out on soap Sunset Beach back in the late 1990s, and snagged a Daytime Emmy nomination in the process, before moving on to One Life to Live, Saum in more recent years was one of the leads with Terri Polo on five seasons of Freeform’s extended family drama The Fosters.

The Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg-created show ended in 2018, but the actor also made appearances on spinoff Good Trouble. Additionally, Saum has had recurring roles on Roswell, New Mexico and Limetown, as well as the Netflix supernatural drama based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.

Executive produced by series creator and showrunner Kemp through her company End of Episode, and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson through his G-Unit Film and Television, Ghost also stars Power alum Shane Johnson once again as federal prosecutor Cooper Saxe.

Besides Ghost, fellow Power spinoffs in the works for Starz include Power Book III: Raising Kanan and the Empire State politics of Power Book IV: Influence. There is also Power Book V: Force, which sees mothership show vet Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) out of the Big Apple and now up to no good in the City of Angels.

May marks Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and specifically, May 18 marks the second annual AAPI National Day Against Bullying and Hate, which is the birthday of Vincent Chin, who was murdered in an anti-Asian hate crime in 1982. With the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a surge of anti-Asian hate crimes. Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council’s Stop AAPI Hate has received more than 1,900 reports of hate crimes against Asians since March. “United We Stand” is a call for communities to stand together against violence, xenophobia, and racism.

“Our mission at Act To Change is to protect and empower youth within our diverse AAPI communities, including Asian American, Pacific Islander, Sikh, Muslim, LGBTQI, and immigrant youth,” said actor, author, and Act To Change co-founder Maulik Pancholy. “Act To Change puts together an annual national AAPI Day Against Bullying and Hate to stand in solidarity and recommit to our movement. Sadly, COVID-19 has only exacerbated the xenophobia and racism that AAPI communities have always faced. It’s inspiring to see leaders and individuals from all over the country stand with us, honor the legacy of Vincent Chin, and pledge today and everyday, to stand up against bullying and hate.”

Station 19 Renewed for Season 4

Station 19 — which regularly crosses over with its mothership series — follows a group of heroic Seattle firefighters as they navigate life in the titular firehouse. The cast includes Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Boris Kodjoe, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Jay Hayden, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre and Miguel Sandoval.

Now leading off Thursday nights, Season 3 of Station 19 through seven of 13 episodes is averaging 6.3 million total viewers and just over a 1.0 demo rating (in Live+Same Day numbers), improving 19 and 7 percent from its sophomore run. Among all current ABC dramas, it delivers the largest weekly audience, while trailing only its sire, Grey’s, in the demo. (Last TV season, it ranked third in both measures.)

Grey’s Anatomy was previously renewed for Season 17 in May 2019. New episodes of Station 19 and Grey’s air Thursdays at 8/7c and 9/8c, respectively.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Anthony Hill & Sherri Saum Join ABC Drama

Anthony Hill (Watchmen) will play Winston, a past resident at Tufts who Maggie used to work with, and Sherri Saum (Locke & Key) will play an old friend of Teddy’s. No details are being revealed. Maggie and Teddy run into their old pals at the LA Surgical Innovation Conference they are attending. The characters will be introduced in the “Love of My Life” episode on March 26.

Despite plot similarities to The Nanny and Lucas’ background as one of the of the key writer-producers on the CBS sitcom starring Fran Drescher for most of its run, Country Comfort is not a reboot of that show or associated to it in anyway. The general premise of a single father and a nanny helping him raise his kids has been around for a long time, employed on screen numerous times, from The Sound of Music to Mary Poppins Returns.

Lucas serves as executive producer and showrunner. Kelly Park (Family Reunion, Alexa & Katie) is directing.

American Idol alumna McPhee starred on the CBS drama series Scorpion, which aired for four seasons, and in the Broadway musical Waitress. She is repped by WME and MGMT Entertainment.

Cibrian recently starred in the ABC series Take Two and was previously seen in Fox’s Rosewood. He is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Lucas also co-wrote the hit movie Mss Congeniality staring Sandra Bullock.

Lisa de Cazotte Dies: Emmy-Winning Daytime Producer Was Age 58

Born Lisa Smith in Westchester, New York in 1961, she graduated from Fordham University and began her television career as an intern on ABC’s One Life to Live. She quickly moved up the ranks to associate, then coordinating producer.

Later positions included working as a producer then supervising producer on NBC’s Santa Barbara and ABC’s All My Children before she was named supervising producer of Aaron Spelling’s Sunset Beach.

In 1999, de Cazotte partnered with writer James E. Reilly and was named EP of NBC Studio’s Passions. She served as EP for the run of the show until 2008; then went on to executive produce General Hospital: Night Shift, a primetime spinoff of GH that ran on cable, before returning to All My Children. In 2012, de Cazotte was named co-executive producer of Days of Our Lives where she won two Daytime Emmy Awards for outstanding drama series. In 2017, she became supervising producer of The Young and the Restless, where she won her third Emmy. She was still producing the Sony/CBS show at the time of her death.

In 2002, de Cazotte married French filmmaker and Oscar winner Antoine de Cazotte. They divided their time between Los Angeles, New York and Paris.

Lisa de Cazotte is survived by her husband Antoine, her brothers Michael Patrick Smith, Robert Terence Smith, and Brian Charles Smith, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Good Trouble Reunites Entire Fosters Family for Christmas Special

The two-hour event will feature the returns of Teri Polo and Sherri Saum (as moms Stef and Lena), plus David Lambert and Hayden Byerly (as siblings Brandon and Jude). And although Noah Centineo (Jesus) is not pictured in TVLine’s exclusive photo, rest assured that The Internet’s Boyfriend will be part of the festivities. While each family member already visited Callie and Mariana’s new digs during the spinoff’s first season, the special marks the first time all of the Adams Fosters will be reunited since the original series ended its run last year.

On top of that, the Christmas gathering will also include a number of in-laws who made their debut on The Fosters: Brandon’s wife Eliza, her parents Jim (Robert Gant) and Diane (Susan Walters), and her brothers Jamie (Beau Mirchoff) and Carter (Spencer List). Of course, Jamie is no stranger to Good Trouble, where he recurs as Callie’s boyfriend. As for Carter, he previously clicked with Jude on The Fosters, so this reunion could be quite interesting.

Frantz's Y&R and B&B co-stars and friends like Kate Linder (Esther, Y&R), Tammin Sursok (ex-Colleen, Y&R), Ashley Jones (ex-Bridget, B&B), and Jacob Young (ex-Rick, B&B) joined the many fans in sending love and support in the comments on the Instagram photo of her father and her daughter, three-year-old Amélie.

After arriving at the hospital, Frantz snapped a photo of her dad in his bed and offered an update for fans and friends. "No news yet!" she reported. "Please keep praying for my dad, John Frantz! I'm here, Daddy! Not a good look on you! Please get up so I can kick your butt for freaking me out!"

Thankfully, a couple days later, on July 29, Frantz had some good news to share. "Looks like someone has an amazing guardian angel!" she exclaimed. "My dad is up! He is still in ICU but this is a start! I really thought this wouldn't happen! It has been a horrible few days! Thank you everyone for all of your wonderful prayers and support! Still have a long way to go but God blessed today! And thank you to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses who have been taking such great care of him! Lunch is on me tomorrow!"

Although Frantz has not yet explained what happened to her father to land him in the ICU, it's clearly very serious and we're glad for the good news that his condition is improving. We'll hold the entire family in our thoughts during this time and hope for further positive updates, which we will naturally continue to pass along.

Station 19 Renewed for Season 3 at ABC

Averaging just shy of a 1.0 demo rating, Station 19 ranked third among all ABC dramas this season, behind Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Doctor.

Station 19 launched in March 2018, with Grey’s vet Jason George transplanted to the firefighter offshoot. Rounding out the cast are Jaina Lee Ortiz, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Alberto Frezza, Jay Hayden, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre, Miguel Sandoval and Boris Kodjoe.

The Season 2 finale is set to air on Thursday, May 16 at 9/8c.

Fans will get a chance to meet Kanan in person as he travels the country for a special book signing tour. He and Liberman will kick things off on Thursday, May 16, at the Barnes and Noble in Country Glen Center in Long Island, NY. There are also dates scheduled in New Jersey, Florida, and California, however Kanan has said he will not be appearing at the Thursday, June 10, signing at The Grove in Los Angeles. Anders, who is the lead detective in a homicide investigation,” Kanan previewed. “I chose to play him with a gravelly voice — it was a real departure for me. I may keep [this look] for a while and see what other work I can do.”

In the meantime, Kanan is putting the finishing touches on THE BUBBLE, the single-camera dramedy he’s penned and is working toward getting produced this year. “It’s about an aging soap star who wants more from life, and it comes in the form of the 16-year-old daughter that he didn’t know he had,” Kanan said. “He’s thoroughly unequipped to be a father but decides to give it a shot and just can’t get out of his own way.”

Written by Gao, who is of Chinese descent, the untitled series is about Janet Zhao (Chou), a first generation Chinese-American woman who struggles to set healthy boundaries with her crazy, exhausting family. When her wealthy grandmother dies and names Janet the sole inheritor, she suddenly finds herself the unwilling new matriarch of the family she’s spent her life trying to keep at arm’s length.

In addition to Chou as Janet, Cheung is Kathy, Park plays Robert, Hu portrays Auntie Amy, Hong is Auntie Linda, Ki Hong Lee plays Franklin, Park is Winnie, and Gemberling portrays Gene.

Sherri Saum Touches Down in Roswell: What Will We Learn From Maria's Mom?

“We find out why Maria has that warrior spirit, why it exists inside of her,” Heather Hemmens tells TVLine of the revealing hour. “Maria is always so positive for her friends’ sake, and she’s always helping them through their drama, being this source of strength for them. Now we finally get to see why she has that resilience.”

This is also a key episode for Maria and Liz, whose friendship is strengthened as a result of their shared experience with Mimi. “She doesn’t want people to feel sorry for her, and she doesn’t want the attention turned onto her struggles,” Hemmens says. “But this is a reminder to her that it’s OK to cry. It’s OK to be overwhelmed by your responsibilities and feel in despair. But it’s also really special when you have friends who can share that with you. It’s very important, and female friendship should never be overlooked.”

In addition to the unexpected truth bombs she drops on Maria’s friends tonight, Mimi’s actions also inspire her daughter to think more about her family’s psychic abilities. “She plays with it and she makes money off of it, but she hasn’t stared it in the face and asked, ‘What is this to me, and where does it come from?'” Hemmens says. “She’s beginning to realize that this is an inheritance. To just cast it aside would be a waste.”

Hemmens also enjoyed collaborating with director Paul Wesley, though it wasn’t the first time the two have worked together: “I did an episode of The Vampire Diaries years ago [Season 5’s ‘Man on Fire’], and most of my scenes were with Paul,” she recalls. “He was a generous, welcoming actor, and he was the same as a director. He’s somebody who really gets The CW and gets the show. He fit right in.”

“I’ve also been dying to work with Julie Plec [ever since that episode],” she adds. “I try to soak up every minute I get to spend with her. She’s such an incredible director, mentor and champion of all females on set, just a great leader for us.”

‘Limetown’: Sherri Saum To Recur On Facebook TV Series Based On Podcast

Written by Limetown podcast creators Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, Limetown follows Lia Haddock (Biel), a journalist for American Public Radio (APR), as she unravels the mystery behind the disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research facility in Tennessee.

Saum will play Gina, the head of programming at APR Studios and Lia’s boss. The character is described as sophisticated, intimidating, a journalists’ journalist. A workhorse who knows the value of a great story.

Biel executive produces via her Iron Ocean Productions banner alongside Michelle Purple as well as Akers and Bronkie. Midnight Radio’s Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg will executive produce and showrun, with the company’s Adrienne Erickson producing. Endeavor Content is the studio.

Sherri Saum Joins Netflix's Locke & Key

In May, the comics-based drama nabbed a straight-to-series order at the streaming service. Carlton Cuse (Lost) will executive-produce alongside Joe Hill, creator of the original comic, and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), among others. Cuse and Averill also will serve as co-showruneners.

The 10-episode Locke & Key tells the story of three siblings who move to Massachusetts after their father’s murder. They soon discover that their new home hosts a set of magical keys, each of which give the children a different ability. Here’s the problem: A demon wants the keys, too, and will do anything to obtain them.

Saum will play Ellie Whedon, a teacher at Matheson Academy who has a mysterious history with the Locke family. In addition to playing Fosters mom Lena, her TV credits include How to Get Away With Murder, Revenge, Gossip Girl, Rescue Me and One Life to Live.

Locke & Key does not yet have a release date. In December, Connor Jessup (American Crime), Emilia Jones and Jackson Robert Scott were cast as Locke siblings Tyler, Kinsey and Bode, respectively.

Roswell, New Mexico Welcomes The Fosters Star Sherri Saum

E! News can exclusively reveal that The Fosters star Sherri Saum, who played Lena Adams Foster on the Freeform series for all five seasons, has joined the CW's upcoming alien series as Mimi, the mother of Maria DeLuca (Heather Hemmens), former best friend to Liz (Jeanine Mason).

While Maria is described as an alien-oblivious socialite, her mother Mimi is "effervescent" and "charming."

"As a young single mom—and part of very few black families in Roswell—her focus has always been on raising her daughter to embrace everything that makes them "weird" to the small-town folks, be it the color of their skin, their unique dance moves, or their connection to spirituality. As both bartender and 'psychic,' Mimi is a vault of Roswell's deepest secrets," reads the official description.

"I was so inspired by the inclusivity of The Fosters while I was building our version of Roswell, so I'm incredibly excited to welcome Sherri Saum to our weird little alien family!" show creator Carina Adly Mackenzie said of the casting. "I'm a huge fan of her work, so I was just humbled that she even auditioned, and director Paul Wesley and I are loving the heart and gravitas she brings to a character that can be a little bit...out there."

Saum joins a cast led by Jeanine Mason (Grey's Anatomy) as Liz, a biomedical researcher and the daughter of illegal immigrants, Nathan Parsons (The Originals) as Max, a police officer and secret alien, Tyler Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars) as Alex, a gay military veteran , Michael Trevino (The Vampire Diaries) as Kyle, the son of the town sheriff, Lily Cowles as secret alien Isobel, and Michael Vlamis as Michael, another secret alien.

The show is a different take on the characters we met in the first series in 1999, and is based on the Roswell High series of books by Melinda Metz. It begins with Liz returning to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico to discover that her teenage crush is a secret alien. She tries to keep his secret, but that might not last after a "violent attack" and the following politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him.

Saum is best known for her work on The Fosters, but she's also had recurring roles on Gossip Girl, In Treatment, and Rescue Me, to name a few. She has also won the Human Rights Campaign Ally for Equality Award.

Roswell, New Mexico will debut on the CW in spring 2019.

‘Good Trouble’: ‘The Fosters’ Stars Teri Polo and Sherri Saum To Reprise Roles On Spinoff Series

Good Trouble follows Callie (Mitchell) and Mariana (Ramirez) as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles.

Polo and Saum are the first Fosters cast members confirmed to guests star on Good Trouble, which had been designed to maintain ties with the mothership show. “We plan to have all characters from the original series make guest appearances,” Freeform EVP Karey Burke told Deadline at the time of the spinoff’s announcement in January.

Good Trouble‘s producers had hinted that we likely will see Jude and Brandon from the original series the most as they also will live in Los Angeles.

The Fosters centered on the Foster clan: lesbian couple Stef (Polo) and Lena (Saum), who have built a close-knit, loving family with Brandon (David Lambert), Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage; their adopted twins, Mariana (Ramirez) and Jesus (Noah Centineo); and adopted siblings Jude (Hayden Byerly) and his half-sister, Callie (Mitchell).

Good Trouble hails from The Fosters’ three writing executive producers — Joanna Johnson, Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg — who exec produce alongside Gregory Gugliotta, Christine Sacani, Mitchell, Ramirez, Jennifer Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina. The series is produced by Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions in association with Freeform. Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians) is director and executive producer of the first episode.

Production has begun in Los Angeles for premiere in 2019.

Take Two on the Move

The series — from Castle executive producers Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller — stars Cibrian as a lone-wolf private investigator who partners up with a fresh-out-of-rehab actress (Bilson).

Next week’s installment features a mini Castle reunion, with guest star Seamus Dever (aka Castle detective Kevin Ryan) as a distraught husband and father who turns to the P.I. duo to help stop a hitman from fulfilling a contract.

Soap star Clive Robertson’s fairy tale-like estate is for sale in the Hollywood Hills

The French country estate, built in 1950 but reflecting a 1920s style, oozes charm. In the main house, the entry features a brick fireplace and a split staircase leading to the second level. Other fireplaces can be found in the master suite and den.

The series was not an out-of-the-gate hit for the network but has done respectably well ratingswise, averaging a 1.08 in the key 18-49 demo and 5.4 million viewers.

Station 19, from Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland and written by Grey’s executive producer/co-showrunner Stacy McKee, follows a group of heroic firefighters in Washington’s largest city. From the captain to the newest recruit, the show revolves around the men and women as they risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock.

Hayes and Seaforth Hayes will be honored at the 45th Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday, April 29.The Krofft Brothers will be celebrated at the 45th Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Friday, April 27. Both presentations will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

“I’ve been star-struck by the dynamic duo of Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes for decades,” said David Michaels, SVP Daytime Emmy Awards at NATAS. “The scope of their work across the television, film and stage landscape is amazing. He’s played the character of Doug Williams on NBC’s Days of Our Lives since 1970.

Seaforth Hayes, whose appearances stretch back to TV’s Lassie and Wyatt Earp, has played Days of Our Lives‘ Julie for 49 years.

The extended promo offered the first extended glimpse of the firefighter-themed offshoot, which finds Grey’s vet Jason George starring alongside Jaina Lee Ortiz (Rosewood), Danielle Savre (Too Close To Home), Okieriete Onaodowan (Broadway’s Hamilton) and Barrett Doss (Marvel’s Iron Fist), Grey Damon (Friday Night Lights), Alberto Frezza (Dead of Summer) and Miguel Sandoval (Medium).

As previously reported, the drama’s 10-episode first season will launch with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22 at 9/8c. It will then continue to lead out of Grey’s Anatomy every week, pushing Scandal to 10 pm beginning March 29 (where it will remain through its series finale on April 19).

Lin Bolen Dies: First Female VP Of Programming At A Network Was 76

Bolen worked for NBC in the 1970s and was responsible for commissioning the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune. She also is credited with bringing long-form narrative to soap operas, expanding them to hour-long formats.

It was long rumored that the ruthless Faye Dunaway character of Diana Christiansen in the 1976 satrical film Network was based on Bolen, something Bolen denied.

She was appointed VP of daytime programming at NBC in 1972, rising to become the VP of programming in Sept. 1975. NBC thrived under her leadership, becoming the No. 1 network in ratings.

Some of her moves were controversial. Bolen ended the 11-year run for Jeopardy!, citing its older demographics and stodgy host Art Fleming, and also killed the 15-year-old game show Concentration. Instead, she pivoted to a new concept from creator/producer Merv Griffin, a casino-like game called Wheel of Fortune that debuted in 1976. It became a huge hit.

Merv Griffin remembered Bolen in his Simon & Schuster memoir, Merv: Making The Good Life Last. He described her as a “hard-driving” and “difficult” woman, with whom he had many “bitter fights.” Still, he noted, “I developed a gruding respect for her talent and determination. She wanted to put her own stamp on NBC’s daytime lineup, and if that meant throwing out a few babies along with the bathwater, then so be it.”

Bolen left NBC in 1976 to form her own, self-named producion company focused on creating and developing game shows, movies of the week, and theatrical films for networks and studios. Among its show was Stumpers!, hosted by Allen Ludden (which lasted 13 weeks before cancellation), and W.E.B., a show that looked seriously at the men who ran network television. It, too, was canceled after 13 weeks, done in by its slot against the ABC hit Charlie’s Angels.

She fared better in television movies. The Christmas Coal Mine Miracle, starring Kurt Russell and Melissa Gilbert, was the highest-rated movie of the year for NBC.

Survivors include a son, Jason Wendkos. No details on memorial services have been made public.

He'll join an already experienced crew made up of Jaina Lee Ortiz (Rosewood), Miguel Sandoval (Medium), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton), Grey Damon (Aquarius), Danielle Savre (Too Close to Home) and Barrett Doss (Marvel's Iron Fist). And though Ben's (George) experiences at Grey Sloan instilled him with some truly invaluable skills, he still has a lot to learn about being a firefighter.

"The focus of being a doctor, the discipline of being a doctor, that's all there. He's got the maturity and all that's there, but the reality is it's a completely different set of tools," Jason George tells TV Guide. "And here, all Seattle firefighters are also paramedics. So it's a significant piece of what he needs, but it's certainly not the majority of what he needs in order to do this job. There is a steep learning curve for him here which wasn't necessarily the case when he became a surgeon."

Fortunately for viewers, Ben's inexperience provides ample opportunities for the types of humor we've come to love on the flagship series — not to mention plenty of over-the-top drama as he's thrust out of the frying pan and into the, well, fire.

"Just like Grey's, this new show will give you instances that make you laugh until you realize that, 'oh my goodness, there's real danger there,' as well as giving you things that are well out of the box," George promises.

But the drama won't just revolve around the danger the firehouse team encounters on the job. The series will follow the firefighters from the action out in the field to their home base at the firehouse, where they'll end up spending a lot of time together — and that may not always be a good thing.

"I think the other fun part is gonna be seeing how we all react to those [situations]. You gotta come back to this house and you gotta hold up for another 20 hours, be stuck in a house with a bunch of beautiful people and let good drama ensue."

As long as none of those "beautiful people" gets in the way of Ben's marriage to Bailey (Chandra Wilson), this all sounds great to us.

The untitled Grey's Anatomy spin-off heads to TV with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22 at 9/8c on ABC.

The Fosters Cancelled — But There’s a (Very Promising) Twist

The show will wrap up Season 5B with a two-hour finale, which also will mark its 100th episode, before a three-episode summer event that will introduce a spinoff series centered around Maia Mitchell’s Callie and Cierra Ramirez’s Mariana.

The untitled offshoot, which has been given a 13-episode order, is set several years in the future as Callie and Mariana begin their lives as young adults in Los Angeles. Callie will continue to be involved in social work, while Mariana will be immersed in the tech world. In addition, another member of the mothership series’ young ensemble may join the pair in LA, our sister site Deadline reports. Plus, the plan is “to have all characters from the original series make guest appearances,” Freeform’s EVP of programming and development Karey Burke told the site.

The new series will be shepherded by Fosters executive producers Bradley Bredeweg, Peter Paige and Joanna Johnson.

“Now that the kids are growing up, it’s time to take them out into the world, to see them make their way into adulthood, continuing their search for identity and love, and the pursuit of their dreams and purpose in this ever-changing world,” the trio said in a statement.

The Fosters Season 5B premieres Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8/7c on Freeform.

Grey's Anatomy's Jason George Breaks Down How His Still-Untitled Spinoff Will Crossover With the ABC Hit

When the Seattle firehouse-set series hits the air, after introducing at least one of its characters in an upcoming episode of the mothership, you can look forward to plenty of cross-pollination courtesy of Jason George's Ben Warren and his deep connections in both worlds. After all, his wife and all his pals will still be working at Grey Sloan Memorial, a hospital that the first responders at his new firehouse will no doubt be tasked with delivering victims to. And unlike Grey's' first spinoff, the L.A.-set Private Practice, not all crossovers will be big tentpole events. (Although you can certainly look forward to those too.)

"My understanding is, Ben will be popping up in Grey's Anatomy some and some of your favorite Grey's Anatomy folks will be popping up in the spin-off," George explained to Entertainment Weekly. "When it was Private Practice, the show was located in Los Angeles, so by definition, it had to be an event when they came up to Seattle or vice versa. This one can be an event, but it also doesn't have to be. The fun part is, the writers have an embarrassment of riches, they can play it any way they want it at any given time. They could have a mega event that goes across both shows, or they could just drop off a person for a little bit and go have a beer. 'Hey Avery, this is my friend from the firehouse.'"

While nothing is set in stone yet, showrunner Stacy McKee admitted to the magazine that keeping the stories on both shows interwoven shouldn't be all that difficult. "We're throwing every idea against the wall, and it's like spaghetti, we'll see what sticks. What's fantastic about this show is because it's Grey's Anatomy-adjacent, there's the potential for things to connect really, really easily," she said. "This show takes place in a Seattle fire station that could, in theory, be just a few blocks down from Grey Sloan Memorial. Plus, I know all the writers over at Grey's and vice versa, so it'll be a very symbiotic relationship."

Of course, before we can get there, the show needs to get off the ground, with Ben officially switching jobs and switching shows. Before the spinoff premieres, fans will get a mini-introduction to the firefighting world when spinoff star Jaina Lee Ortiz, who will be playing Andy Herrera, stops by. "It's going to be such a fun, fantastic introduction to her character," McKee teased. "It will also showcase a really lovely story for Ben, where we get to just juxtapose his two worlds and see his reaction as he transitions from one world to the next. We're actually shooting it right now. It's going to be so good."

And if you're worried about what Ben's decision to leave the hospital might mean for his marriage to Bailey (Chandra Wilson), especially after seeing her initial reaction to hearing the news, well, there's good news and bad news. The bad? George admitted that the true fallout in his marriage is still being hammered out. "They told me, 'Well, you're probably right to be concerned, because I'm sure Bailey is going to be concerned,' so I think we're still in the middle of working out what that means. I'm as much a fan of the show as anybody, so I'm figuring it out myself," he said. "This goes one of two ways—either it stresses them out, perhaps breaks them, or they find a way to work through it."

And the good news? These words from McKee on the matter: "I don't think anyone should feel hopeless."

Castle Creators Back at ABC With New, Light Detective Procedural Take Two; Rachel Bilson, Eddie Cibrian to Star

On the heels of news that Nathan Fillion will return to his old Alphabet Network stomping ground as the star of the cop dramedy The Rookie, ABC has announced that it has placed a straight-to-series for a new procedural from Castle creators Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe. Titled Take Two, the dramedy — which Miller and Marlowe have been developing for nearly two years — stars The O.C.‘s Rachel Bilson and CSI: Miami’s Eddie Cibrian as unlikely P.I. partners.

Here’s the official, Grinder-esque logline:

Ella (Bilson), the former star of a hit cop series, is fresh out of-rehab following a bender of epic proportion. Desperate to restart her career, she talks her way into shadowing rough-and-tumble private investigator Eddie (Cibrian) as research for a potential comeback role. Though lone wolf Eddie resents the babysitting gig, high-spirited Ella proves herself to be surprisingly valuable, drawing on her acting skills and 200 episodes of playing a detective. When the press touts Ella’s role in solving a high-profile case, Eddie finds his phone ringing off the hook with new clients looking to hire the pair.

“Andrew and Terri are wonderful storytellers and this is the perfect project for their return to ABC,” said Channing Dungey, President, ABC Entertainment. “We’re excited to see Rachel and Eddie bring these characters to life.”

Bilson most recently recurred on CMT’s Nashville as a love interest for Charles Esten’s grieving widower Deacon. TVLine has confirmed that she will not be a part of the country drama’s upcoming sixth season.

In spite of the risk to his relationship — not to mention the risk to his own physical well-being! — Ben remains determined to give up his promising medical career to saves lives in burning buildings instead of in the O.R. Uh, why? “You know what I honestly think it is? I think it scares the hell out of him,” George suggested. “I think we established in [Season 13’s ‘Ring of Fire’] that Ben was definitely afraid of fire, yet he ran into a fire. He is an adrenaline junkie.

“A lot of really successful people,” he adds, “have said they just went charging at the thing that scared them the most.”

Which, in Ben’s immediate future, might just be his wife. As we’ve already seen starting, “it’s going to get hot” between the couple, the actor summed up with a laugh. “Best-case scenario is, it gets real hot, and that’s meant both for the pun and about their relationship. That’s as good as Ben can hope for.”

‘Take Off Your Dress’: How Men In Hollywood, From Steven Seagal to Harvey Weinstein, Treated Women for Decades

In 1996, Guerrero was a 31-year-old with a few minor roles to her credit (Matlock, Batman Returns ) when her manager, Lorraine Berglund, phoned with exciting news. “They want you to read for the female lead in a Steven Seagal film,” Berglund said, “but the audition is going to be held at his house in Beverly Hills.”

In the mid-’90s, Seagal was a box-office juggernaut, but Guerrero was wary of the offer. The casting agency offered to send a female associate, Shari Rhodes, to accompany Guerrero on the audition. “This was potentially a huge break for me,” Guerrero says, “but there was no way I was going there by myself.”

Upon arrival, Guerrero and Rhodes were greeted by Seagal, who answered the door clad only in a silk robe. He ushered them into a side room, where he sat in an oversized, ornate chair on a platform (“We called it ‘the throne,” says Guerrero) and asked Guerrero to read her scenes. When she finished, Seagal, who was also a producer on the film, Fire Down Below, said, “You’re fantastic! Tell me about yourself.”

“I drove home feeling pretty good about the audition,” Guerrero recalls, “and that same day my manager called. ‘Steven wants to offer you the lead,’ she said, ‘but you have to go back to his home for a private rehearsal tonight.’”

Guerrero declined. The lead role of Sarah Kellogg in that film went to Marg Helgenberger (of CSI fame), but Guerrero was given a small part. On the day she arrived on set, she spotted Seagal talking to male crew members. From Guerrero’s perspective, it seemed like a scene out of high school. “He was looking at me and then he’d say something to them and there’d be laughter,” says Guerrero, who was listed in the film’s credits as “Blonde Beauty.” “Finally he approached me and asked, ‘Would you like to go into my dressing room?’”

Once again, Guerrero declined. She has never seen Fire Down Below and as far as she knows, her scene was cut. “When I read about Harvey Weinstein, the reports of him appearing in a robe triggered me,” she says. “That’s exactly what Steven Seagal did. I found out later that he was notorious for this.”

An Inside Edition report that will air Thursday evening includes multiple allegations against Seagal spanning more than two decades. One of his accusers, Jenny McCarthy, said that during a casting session she was ushered into a room with Seagal, who said, “So you were [Playboy’s] Playmate of the Year? Take off your dress.”

That’s Hollywood, says Guerrero. “As an aspiring actress you have zero leverage,” says Guerrero, who appeared in the 2011 Oscar-nominated film Moneyball. “Who was I going to go to complain about sex discrimination? He was both the star and a producer on the film.”

Guerrero later ventured into sports reporting, but was unable to escape the casting-couch syndrome. As an on-air reporter at Fox Sports in the early 2000s, she says that she was twice propositioned by Fox executives and twice rejected them. There were consequences. “I was supposed to provide on-site coverage for the 2002 Super Bowl in New Orleans that aired on Fox,” Guerrero says. “Before we departed, an executive—he was married—suggested that we share a hotel room.”

No way, Guerrero told him. “Then they took me off our Super Bowl coverage,” says Guerrero, who left Fox Sports in 2003 to be the sideline reporter for ABC’s Monday Night Football.

Guerrero believes that the Weinstein scandal will lead to a tidal wave of similar stories. “The only way to get [this abuse] to stop is for every woman to come forward and to tell their stories,” she says. “It’s not just about going to Human Resources any more. If the most powerful studio mogul in Hollywood could be brought down, I hope more women find the courage to come forward.

'Dynasty' Star Gordon Thomson Comes Out As Gay

In a new interview with the Daily Beast, the 72-year-old, who played the homophobic villain Adam Carrington in the ’80s soap opera, comes out as gay for the first time.

“It’s not something I’ve ever announced,” he told the Daily Beast of his sexuality. “I’m assuming that people know, and now that I’m my age that’s fine. I don’t go out of my way because it’s my generation, I think. I’m probably as homophobic as any gay man alive because of my background.”

His secrecy was tied to the times.

“When I was growing up it [homosexuality] was a crime, and then classified as a mental illness ... so you’re dealing with that,” he added. “And the shame, the breathtaking lack of self-esteem, has only just begun to seep out of my soul.”

The CW “Dynasty” reboot is set to premiere Oct. 11. While the drama will remain in tact, the homophobia will be erased.

The original version showcased homophobic sentiment when it came to Adam’s gay brother Steven Carrington (played by Al Corley), and patriarch Blake Carrington’s attitude toward him. The reboot will shed that hatred, with billionaire Blake supporting his son’s sexuality.

Thomson acknowledged Hollywood’s “closet problem” in the ’80s, saying he could not come out because of the social climate ? including the cruel scandal around Rock Hudson during the AIDS crisis.

“The ‘vibe’ on that set—sorry I hate that word but that’s what it was—was so heterosexual. I didn’t want to say, ‘Guess what everybody, the guy playing the father is gay.’ If I had there would have been a slight shift away which I wasn’t ready to deal with.”

Grey's Anatomy: Jason George Jumps to Firefighter Spinoff as Series Regular

Grey’s Anatomy star Jason George has joined the cast of the Grey’s firefighter-focused spinoff as a series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter. George will continue to be a series regular on the upcoming Season 14 of Grey’s — debuting Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8/7c on ABC — until the untitled spinoff begins production; he’s also expected to pop back into Grey’s from time to time.

George joined the Grey’s cast back in Season 6 as Dr. Ben Warren, earning a promotion to series-regular status in Season 12. Ben’s storyline this season will set up his transition to the new spinoff series, which centers on a tight-knit group of Seattle firefighters. The spinoff, with Rosewood alum Jaina Lee Ortiz set as the female lead, was ordered straight to series back in May; no premiere date has been set.

Along with his role on Grey’s, George has had regular roles on Mistresses, Off the Map, Eve and the late NBC soap Sunset Beach.

Supergirl Casts 24 Vet Carlos Bernard as Maggie's [Spoiler] in Season 3

24 alum Carlos Bernard will guest-star during Season 3 of the CW series as Maggie Sawyer’s father, TVLine has learned.

Like his daughter, Bernard’s Oscar Rodas is also a cop. It was revealed last season that Maggie grew up in a very conservative family that did not approve of her being a lesbian. After she was outed, Maggie and her parents got in a big fight, which resulted in the teen getting kicked out of the house by her dad.

Will pops drop by to make peace and give his stamp of approval to a possible engagement? At the close of the Season 2 finale, Alex popped the question to her girlfriend Maggie, whose answer remains a mystery for now. And although Maggie’s portrayer, Floriana Lima, will step down from series regular to recurring for Season 3, executive producer Greg Berlanti doesn’t believe the change will be perceptible to viewers.

“Any character people love is not there as much as people want them there,” Berlanti told TVLine at the Television Critics Association summer press tour this week. “[But] from my perspective, we will use her as much as we can.”

“She’s wonderful on the show, and she’s got some real ardent fans, as she should,” he continued. “We wanted more of her, but she’s got other things in the hopper, other things she wants to consider.”

Bernard — whose TV credits also include Dallas and Scoundrels — first teased his visit to the CW series via Twitter earlier this week.

Pratt took the reins from Charley Murray, who previously served as co-showrunner alongside co-creator/executive producer Tom Donaghy. Murray exited the show last September over creative differences for the direction of the show.

Star was not the breakout series like Daniels’ hit hip hop series Empire, but has been stable in ratings and was renewed for a second season last month.

Set in Atlanta, Star revolves around three talented young singers (Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny and Brittany O’Grady) who navigate the cut-throat music business on their road to success. The series, whose pilot was directed by Daniels, features original music, along with musical fantasy sequences, as the girls dream of their future. Its cast includes Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt and Nicholas Gonzalez.

Daniels, Donaghy, Pamela Oas Williams and Effie Brown executive produce.

Pratt’s exit was first reported by the Hollywood Reporter.

The Fosters, Shadowhunters, Stitchers Return Dates Set at Freeform

The cabler on Monday revealed that The Fosters‘ fifth season will bow on Tuesday, July 11 at 8/7c, leading into the series premiere of the magazine-set drama The Bold Type.

Additionally, Shadowhunters midseason premiere is set for Monday, June 5 at 8/7c, leading into the Season 3 launch of Stitchers at 9 pm.

The Bold Type, inspired by the life of Hearst exec Joanna Coles, offers a glimpse into the “outrageous lives and loves” of those responsible for the global women’s magazine Scarlet. The series stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy, Sam Page, Matt Ward and Melora Hardin.

Susan Lucci to Guest Co-Host Hallmark's Home & Family — and Reunite with All My Children Cast!

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the All My Children star will join the network as a guest co-host for one full week.

Beginning Jan. 30, Lucci, 70, will participate in every aspect of the daily morning program, including cooking, playing games and sharing personal stories with viewers. Lucci — who played Erica Kane on the ABC soap from 1970-2011 — will also be joined by her husband, Helmut Huber, and two children: her son, Andreas, and daughter, Liza.

“I’m looking forward to learning new things about interior design and color. I’ve been traveling so much in the last number of years between All My Children and Dancing with the Stars in L.A. and Devious Maids in Atlanta,” the soap opera legend said in a release about her upcoming stint as guest co-host, which runs Jan. 30 through Feb. 3. “Now I’m looking around my house thinking I want to redo some rooms, so I’ll be happy to hear from the experts.”

Additionally, All My Children fans and audiences who have hoped for a cast reunion needn’t wait any longer! On Feb. 2, Peter Bergman, Kim Delaney, Lawrence Lau, Eden Riegel, Kathleen Noone, Eva LaRue, John Callahan, Rebecca Budig and Cameron Mathison will join Lucci for a special reunion show on Home & Family. “It’s going to be so exciting to see so many of the people I worked with, love and admire. We all haven’t been together since All My Children went off ABC (in 2011),” said Lucci about the reunion.

The reunion show will also include segments honoring Erica Kane’s dysfunctional TV family and All My Children‘s “super couples,” and will feature a tribute to late AMC cast members and the series’ creator, Agnes Nixon, who died in September.

“Agnes meant so much to me my whole adult life. I was beyond lucky to be in her hands,” said Lucci of Nixon. “She was a mentor to me and I admired her tremendously. She was a modern woman and the youngest voice in the room.”

Added H&F executive producer and creator, Woody Fraser: “Susan is a tremendous talent and we’re very excited to have her join us for a full week of shows.”

The Fosters Renewed for Season 5

Freeform on Tuesday announced that the family series has been renewed for a fifth season, along with Bachelor franchise spinoff Happily Ever After?, which will return for Season 2.

The Fosters returns for Season 4B on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 8/7c, where it will lead into the final season of Switched at Birth. Meanwhile, Happily Ever After? — now titled The Twins: Happily Ever After? — will turn its focus to Bachelor Season 20 standouts Emily and Haley Ferguson and will be back on Monday, March 20, at 9 pm.

In addition to the aforementioned renewals, Freeform has announced that both Young & Hungry and Baby Daddy will return with new episodes on a new night, beginning Monday, March 13.

The cabler has also picked up to series The Bold Type (formerly known as Issues), a new one-hour drama from Parenthood producer Sarah Watson, The series, based on the life of Hearst Magazines’ chief content officer, Joanna Coles, stars Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee (Chasing Life) and Melora Hardin (Transparent). It is slated for a summer 2017 debut.

In this modern take on the classic fairy tale, Angie takes the opportunity to let loose at the Christmasquerade Ball and escape her cousin’s shadow. She catches the eye of Nicholas, a wealthy bachelor, but leaves before revealing her identity, leaving him searching for the mystery woman. Down plays the handsome bachelor’s mother, who she insists isn’t a wicked stepmother.

“She’s nice, except she is exceptionally controlling,” Down tells Soaps In Depth. “And of course she’s exceptionally rich and she only wants the best for her son. If she was my mother, I’d probably be in orange strips and doing 30 years in jail, but for the movie, it was fine!”

The actress reveals that the director, Tosca Musk, asked her to do the role because she was a big fan of the ‘80s mini-series North and South, in which Down starred. She had also read the script before being offered the part because her husband, Don E. FauntLeRoy, was the cinematographer on the film.

“I remember doing the read-through and thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, this is so hysterical,’” Down recalls. “It’s very rare to read something that is just snappy and well-written, and it was. It really was. It’s adorable.”

24: Legacy: Carlos Bernard to Reprise His Role as Tony Almeida in Fox Reboot

Carlos Bernard (Sunset Beach; The Young & The Restless) has signed on to reprise his signature role as Tony Almeida on a recurring basis in Fox’s forthcoming 24: Legacy reboot, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Tony was killed off in Season 5, only to be resurrected — and rebranded as a villain — at the start of Season 7. He was last seen being carted off to jail in the Season 7 finale, although he popped up two years ago in a special feature in the Live Another Day Blu-Ray set. The quasi-short film, 24: Solitary, chronicled Tony’s life in prison, including his efforts to break out.

“Tony Almeida is one of the most indelible personalities in the 24 universe, at times loyal and loving, other times an utterly amoral, ruthless mercenary,” said Legacy‘s co-showrunners Manny Coto and Evan Katz in a statement. “Carlos Bernard has done an amazing job portraying this dark and conflicted character, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with his return to the show.”

Bernard is the first (but probably not the last) 24 vet to make time for Legacy, which centers on a former Army Ranger (played by The Walking Dead‘s Corey Hawkins) who, upon returning to the U.S., turns to the CTU for help in saving his life. “The premise of the season is based on a real story about the guys who took out Osama bin Laden,” Coto previously explained to TVLine. “It struck us as a fascinating [introduction] for a character who participated in a huge mission to take out a terrorist leader and then had to go back to his normal life. And then what would happen if [someone] started killing off the members of his team one by one?

“It was a way to start fresh [with a] brand new character — a character that is not Jack Bauer,” Coto added. “Jack Bauer was a seasoned agent. This character is not. This character is soldier who is not used to this world of espionage.”

24: Legacy will debut after Super Bowl 51 on Sunday, Feb. 5, before settling into its regular Monday-at-8 pm time slot the following night.

Rosewood Update: Eddie Cibrian Tapped to Replace Brian Austin Green

Fox’s Rosewood has tapped the Third Watch/CSI: Miami to take over the new Season 2 series regular role abruptly vacated by Brian Austin Green, TVLine has learned exclusively.

As we reported, Green left the Fox drama in the middle of shooting his first episode, aka the Season 2 premiere.

Cibrian assumes the role of Aaron Slade, East Miami Police’s enigmatic newest member who will both challenge and complicate an already messy situation between Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) and Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). He doesn’t trust anyone and hates the idea of partnerships and teams – which will keep Rosewood and Villa on their toes as they go to great lengths to figure him out.

As the team begins to investigate and uncover the real Aaron Slade, the twosome learn of his storied past.

Cibrian is coming off of a recurring gig on Freeform’s Baby Daddy.

Rosewood returns with Season 2 on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8/7c.

General Hospital's Tyler Christopher Replaced as Nikolas by Nick Stabile

A spokesperson for ABC’s one remaining soap could neither say how long the recast would be playing Hayden’s husband nor when the big switch would take place on air. Christopher, who recently won his first Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, originated the role of Laura Spencer’s firstborn son back in 1996. He was replaced once before during his long GH run in the early 2000s, when The Closer‘s Stephen Martines — then known as Coltin Scott — took over.

Stabile, who played Mark Wolper on Aaron Spelling’s Sunset Beach in the late 1990s and Dean Hartman on Days of Our Lives in 2009, is no stranger to recasts. He previously stepped in as Passions‘ Fox Crane in 2004 while Justin Hartley (now Adam, The Young and the Restless) was on paternity leave. Stabile’s other credits include Dawson’s Creek, Charmed and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Daytime Confidential broke the story that Christopher was taking time off during contract negotiations.

In related news, Christopher was scheduled to appear alongside on-screen mom Genie Francis (Laura) at a weekend of fan events in June but was replaced by Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie). "So sorry @Tyler2929 can't join me at next week's @coastalent1 events,” Francis tweeted earlier. “But SO thrilled @JackieZeman is coming! So fun!"

Sherri Saum: ‘I’ve Never Been More Fit’ Thanks to My Twin Toddlers

“Believe it or not, I feel like I’ve never been more fit because of them,” the actress, 41, tells PEOPLE. “I remember people telling me, ‘I get my workout running after my toddler,’ and I was secretly thinking, ‘That’s a joke right?’ And now I understand it.”

“I literally don’t sit down!” she continues. “I’m basically lifting weight all day long – I’m picking them up, putting them down, picking them up, putting them down. It truly is a workout.”

Saum also takes her twins for long walks in their stroller.

“We go for a mile and a half. We live in a really hilly area, so it’s a serious workout!” she says.

When their schedules align, The Fosters star also likes to work out with her husband Kamar de los Reyes, 47.

“We try to take advantage of the times that we can, especially because we live in such a great area where we can get a workout in right by our house,” says Saum. “We go hiking a lot together, and we have a great set of stairs near where we live, so we do stair workouts and body weight workouts.”

Saum supplements her hikes with her husband and toddler workouts with twice-a-week sessions with a personal trainer.

“We do a lot of kettlebell work, we do a lot of work with resistance bands,” she says. “It’s really important for me to get my core and low back strong, so we do things that are centered around that. It’s just a focused and targeted workout that’s geared toward the reality of my life, which is I’m picking up kids a lot and my back needs to be there for me.”

Saum’s dedication to fitness comes from a desire to be a better parent, rather than a place of vanity.

“At this point in my life it’s not about, let me look good in this dress. It’s about, I need to be able to wake up and be strong enough and energetic enough to play with my kids, and be an active and present parent for them,” she says. “That’s where my goals have shifted.”

Another part of Saum’s wellness routine is USANA health bars.

“With the bars, I know exactly the nutrients I’m getting without having to thinking about it,” she says. “It’s just simple and wholesome and targeted toward my special needs.”

Jason George: Why ‘Grey’s Anatomy’s’ 2-hour event made him relive the ‘worst’ and ‘best day’ of his life

The 44-year-old actor, who after years of guest-starring on “Grey’s” was bumped up to series regular last summer, explains what Code Pink means, why everything will change at Grey-Sloan Memorial after Thursday night, and how the medical scare featured in this episode brought on extremely painful real-life flashbacks from 8 years ago.

Zap2it: What is Code Pink?

Jason George: When a child or infant has gone missing, they lock down the hospital, and you’re frozen wherever you are. So, if a child is running lose, they can’t get anywhere else, and you can find them easier. In this instance, Ben is trapped trapped where he is and he can’t get to any doctors, and no doctors can get to him, and he’s [with] a pregnant woman with severe complications. It’s the worst possible scenario a doctor can get put in.

Why is this episode a game-changer for Ben?

The Code Pink has caused unintended chaos. Ben has to make some tough calls. Everyone has a different take on if he made a right call or if he made a wrong call. It’s hand down – this episode changes Ben and Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) relationship. His entire work world. His relationship with many of the other doctors, and [how] Ben looks at himself. We hit some really hard stuff.

What was the most challenging part of filming this 2-hour special?

I love playing opposite Chandra. This pushes us to go places that we’ve never gone before, and that was a fun challenge.

With such dramatic story lines, is it hard to separate from work when you go home?

[While filming this episode], there was one night I had to come home and tell my wife what happened. Usually, she doesn’t want to know because she likes to watch the show, but I was like “Nope!” I’m spoiling because I’m reliving the worst/best day of our lives … I have a 12-year-old and twin 8-year-olds. So, I’m having flashbacks all over the place …

What happened?

[With] my twins, an SUV ran a red light and T-boned her sedan while she 8.5 months pregnant. I’ve never been more scared, more angry, then more relieved, then more in love. Every emotion you could possibly feel, I went through at the highest level humanly possible. And so much of that is reflected in that episode.

Did Shonda Rhimes or any of the writers know about this?

Nope! They’re are just writing crazy situations.

You’re really living “Grey’s Anatomy!”

For a day or two … I’ve been there. We went to the emergency room, and she was fine. But at the end of the day, we were [originally due] in one or two weeks, and they were like let’s do it now. So, they were born by emergency C-section because of the accident.

Below, George previews Thursday’s harrowing Ben-centric double-header and reveals the ominous heads-up he received from producers just prior to shooting.

TVLINE | Why are these such pivotal Ben episodes?

The hospital goes into lockdown because there’s a kid missing, so there’s a Code Pink. They literally lock every door so this [missing] kid can’t get out. The unintended consequence of that is that Ben is transporting an incredibly pregnant woman who is having complications. And he gets trapped in a place where it’s just him and Andrew [Giacomo Gianniotti] and her. No other doctors can’t get to him and he can’t get to any other doctors. So, as the complications get worse, Ben has to make decisions. And everyone has their own point of view on the decisions Ben made. Lives hang in the balance and it’s all on Ben.

TVLINE | How does Bailey figure into this?

Ben is a surgical resident — he’s not even a full doctor. The question arises, “Did he make the right call?” If he was a full doctor their might be less scrutiny. But the reality is that he’s still learning to be a surgeon, so everybody has an opinion about what Ben did. But, ultimately, it’s Bailey’s call as to whether or not she believes this surgical resident — who happens to be her husband — did the right thing or not. And needless to say it puts a little stress on the relationship.

TVLINE | How did you find out that these episodes were coming?

I was a fan of [Grey’s Anatomy] long before I was ever on it so, normally, the table read is where I get to enjoy the show just as a fan. But with this one, they gave me a heads-up about a week in advance — partially because I was [headed to the] Atlanta TV Festival and was about to do a 24-hour turnaround [from Los Angeles to Atlanta and back]. And [EP Rob Korn] was like, “Are you sure you want to do that? Because you’re going to be working some long hours for several days in a row coming up.” So that’s pretty much how I found out that these were coming down the pike. And then I started to get excited… It was fun to see [Ben] truly in the hot seat.

Grey's Anatomy Shocker! Jason George Tells Us What's Next for Ben – and You Won't Like It

The resident in question is Ben Warren (Jason George), who once again will find himself with a critical patient and no resources to treat her. He'll have to make a call on how to save his patient's life without an attending to supervise, which got him in serious trouble a couple of weeks ago when he opened up a mental patient with a clipboard.

"I think out of control is a bit strong. Ben is a man of action," George says of Webber's assessment to TVGuide.com. "Ben ends up in a horrible situation where he has to make a really tough call as a soon-to-be surgeon. He's not even a full-time surgeon yet... This time there's a patient where Ben is in a situation where he cannot get help and he has to make a hard call."

Hard calls in dicey situations are made on Grey's Anatomy all the time. Owen (Kevin McKidd) didn't have a lot of fans of his fast-paced trauma treatment when he first arrived either. The staff of Grey Sloan Memorial will also be split when it comes to Ben's choices. "The fun part is that every person on this show has a take on what that means. Did he make the right call or did he make the wrong call depends on who you're talking to and when you're talking to them," George says.

The person whose opinion matters the most though is that of Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Ben's wife. Ben's actions will worsen the current tension in their marriage. "We've been hinting in a lot of different ways that having your wife be your boss, or in this case your boss' boss, is friction," George says. "It's the exact reverse of what everyone expects. Not only is he not going to get special treatment, but he's going to get dealt with [more severely]."

Will Ben and Miranda be able to work it out? The Grey's Anatomy event kicks off Thursday at 8/7c on ABC.

LeAnn Rimes Just Got a Massive Diamond Ring From Eddie Cibrian for Christmas and Their Anniversary

LeAnn Rimes was shocked beyond belief after Eddie Cibrian gifted her with a stunning diamond ring on Christmas Eve in honor of it being five years since he first popped the big question to the country singer.

The 33-year-old proudly showed off her gorgeous new sparkler on Instagram, writing, "Celebrating 5 years since we got engaged! #christmaseve #thecibs #husbandandwife"

The jewelers who helped create Rimes' new ring thanked her for the social media shout out and responded, "Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas. It was such a pleasure working with you to bring your ring to life. It looks perfect on you."

Shortly after the blingtastic photo, Rimes posted a sweet selfie of her with her hubby lounging after their family meal and wished all of her fans a wonderful holiday season.

After the 2010 proposal, the two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Malibu in April 2011.

Then, the following year, the Cibrians opted to renew their vows privately.

"Renewed our vows today....it's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife," Rimes tweeted at the time. "Here's to another great year!"

Sounds like a wonderful time in the Cibrian household!

LeAnn Rimes Shares Awkward Family Christmas Card With Eddie Cibrian and Kids

The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram to give her fans a look at the card featuring her hubby and his two sons, Mason and Jake. The card itself reads: "Not your typical holiday fruitcakes," on the front, while the back says, "Wishing you and yours a holiday full of ugly Christmas sweaters, crazy family and "Olan Mills" picturesque memories."

Rimes captioned the post, "Let Christmas begin! Only a week away! Merry Christmas from our silly, blended, blessed family to yours. Hope you all have plenty of ‘Olan Mills' moments to capture on your camera phones, but even more so, in your hearts," she said, referencing the Instagram account of awkward family photos.

Meanwhile, Rimes recently opened up about her family's Christmas plans while joining the ladies of The View last month.

Other than admitting she always gets the décor up early, the singer also dished on some of the holiday traditions she's started with Eddie and her stepsons.

"The first year we actually spent together with the kids at Christmas, he went out to the mall and picked up this little ornament that's four peas in a pod and put our names on it," she revealed. "It was the sweetest thing ever he brought home! Since then, we've been kind of doing that same thing, that tradition of getting an ornament to commemorate every year."

As for their plans this Christmas, Mason and Jake—who will be splitting time with their mother, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville—will join them on Christmas day. "They'll be with us! We get them, like, Christmas mid-day," LeAnn explained. "So we'll have Christmas morning all on our own which will be kind of nice."

Sherri Saum Doesn’t ‘See the Point’ in Cutting Her Twin Sons’ Hair

At the premiere of Disney On Ice‘s Frozen, the mom of two boasted about how her boys have taken after her in the snoozing department.

“They sleep through the night,” Saum, 41, told PEOPLE. “We don’t need a DNA test because they like to sleep like me, so I know they’re mine.”

Adds husband Kamar do los Reyes, “They’ve been giving us nine to 10 hours and they wake up for a quick bottle and go back down for another hour and a half.”

Saum has avoided cutting her boys’ long curly shoulder-length locks — and isn’t planning on taking the plunge anytime soon.

“I’m not going to ever,” she says. “I just don’t see the point unless they have a job interview coming up, then I might consider it. But even then, I might try to fake a pin under a bun or something.”

John carries a slightly darker shade of brown than his brother Michael, who sports natural highlights. “This one is a little blond,” says Saum. “Teri Polo, my costar on The Fosters, is always like, ‘That’s my son. He’s blond!’ I don’t know what happened biologically, but he’s mine.”

Though their sleep patterns and hair length are the same, differences in their personalities are definitely starting to show. “From day one, Michael was like, ‘Hey, I’m the showman,’ ” Saum says. “John is super chill, we call him ‘super chill.’ ”

The couple are encouraging their children to learn Spanish and admit their bilingual skills are in full force.

“They have a repository of vocabulary words now,” says Saum. “We speak to them in Spanish so they have about six, seven, eight words now. They’re saying, ‘hola,’ ‘luna,’ [and] ‘mas.’ The big one is ‘mas’ — more, more, more! Mas! Mas! Mas!”

The family will be enjoying more and more festive cheer as they set up their home for the holidays. “They’re starting now to just notice a lot of things so we will decorate a tree,” says Saum. “They’ll be able to decorate a tree for the first time.”

As parents, they know things won’t be perfect and that when it comes to the tree the kids will probably “knock it down,” Reyes jokes. Which makes the holiday all the more fun for this family.

“We’re going to take it as it comes,” Saum shares. “I’m big on not forcing things and not trying to be the perfect Christmas mom. I’m just going to be like, ‘Let’s get through the day and see if we can have a candy cane and call it success.’ ”

‘The Fosters’ Renewed For Season 4 By ABC Family

During its recent summer run, The Fosters ranked as cable TV’s No. 1 scripted series in the Monday 8 PM time period in total viewers (2.1 million) as well as adults 18-34 and adults 18-49, and was the No. 3 most tweeted basic cable drama series (399,000 tweets).

The Fosters is executive-produced by Lopez and created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige, who also serve as executive producers and writers, along with Joanna Johnson. Booming Forward: Former soap opera star teaches how to get most out of life

A veteran actress, Robinson caught her big break on the soap opera show, “Another World.”

Robinson, 47, has added a twist to her career – a later-in-life transformation.

While she still acts, Robinson devotes much of her time teaching others how to keep their cool when the pressure is on.

Robinson’s business, Charisma on Camera, teaches people how to be an effective communicator, putting fear and doubt aside and following instincts.

FOX 13’s Dave Nemeth spoke with Robinson about her new business.
